I think he is saying he couldn't comment on the Rockets thread, because he said Fiers sucks on the Astros thread.

Nene's importance to Houston > Parker's importance to San Antonio .... for this year's playoffs.
This might be controversial, but I actually think that Parker's absence has been a net positive for the Spurs against the Rockets. We were able to sag off of him and go under screens, knowing he wasn't a great shooter, which really helped our defense. He would have probably gone off in one of the games he ends up missing, but I think Simmons has played better than Parker would have overall.
My question is why Dantoni is so against using Trez for those 16 minutes that Capela needs rest. I understand he hasn't been playing meaningful minutes so far in the playoffs but he is a capable defender/rebounder. He isn't the scoring threat that Capela is, but if Nene was only averaging 6 points a game you don't need much to replace that production, couple of put-backs maybe.TXAG14 said:
That means Anderson is our backup center? Puke.
I've actually been pleasantly surprised by Anderson's defense. I say this with the realization that for his size he is a horrible defender. However, since all LMA is effective at is turnaround, fade away mid range jumpers, there's not a lot a defender can do but put a hand in his face. Doesn't matter if it's Nene, Anderson, or Capela guarding him (or Dwight Howard for that matter). If he's going to make those shots he's going to make them. Also, Lee shoots an air ball with Sweet Lou guarding him in the post, not really worried about anything there.TXAG14 said:

He was really effective for stretches in the regular season. Several games he provided a spark off the bench, not sure why we haven't seen him.CFTXAG10 said:My question is why Dantoni is so against using Trez for those 16 minutes that Capela needs rest.
