I don't remember Zeke's first several in the NBA, but Curry missed a lot of games/was injured a lot in his first 3yrs. Once he got his ankles conditioned for the rigors of the NBA, he has been filthy. He has another season like this one and it's hard to argue that he's the best pure shooter of all time.

Curry is a much better player now than he was earlier. If he keeps up his trajectory (or even his current pace) for the next four years, I think he surpasses Magic

what? all curry does is score. Magic could do everything else much better than curry could. The 3 point line was not a point of emphasis until reggie miller and then ray allen showed up. Then it didn't even become a team emphasis until D'antoni and Daryl Morey introduced analytical based, team wide 3 point chucking.

I'd say he's turned into a well-above-average passer too. He still turns it over too much but 3.4/game isn't god awful given the amount he handles the ball and the number of double teams he sees.

Some of the comments from former players talking about the Warriors is comical.

They all seem to think their team would have beaten last years and this year's Warriors team. Some have gone as far as to say that Curry wouldn't even make it in the league

I've heard their arguments... And it's so dumb

That last shot... Just wow. There's never been a shooter like Curry. That was a 35' shot and he pulled up and went through his regular jump shot motion like it was a ho-hum corner three.

One stat regarding his HOF status : only 12 players have won 2 or more regular season MVP awards and they're all in the HOF or locks to be. So Curry would be in some pretty elite company at that point.

I would probably compare the game to MJ's scoring 50+ as a 38 year old with the Wizards in the regular season.

It's the regular season...it's just treated differently.

If the minimum career average were 23+ ppg, the HOF would only have about 25 total players.

Tim Duncan finished one season at 25.5 and no other seasons above 23. Career of 19.

Clearly not HOF material.
