Brad Stevens is doing a great job with Boston. They have the 2nd largest point differential in the East, they almost beat Golden State, and you look at their roster and realize they don't have a single star on it.

In another couple of years after they've put all those picks to work (either via the draft or trades), they are going to be a legit contender.

Draymond Green ****ing went off tonight against Denver. 29 points 17 rebounds, 14 assists, 4 steals, and a block to only 3 turnovers. That's one of the best stat lines of the season.

What happened to the Suns? It seemed like they were on an upward trajectory. Bledsoe, Knight, and Chandler is a good core and they have some promising young players.

EDIT: Oh, Bledsoe is out. Yeah, that'll hurt. But even before he went out the Suns didn't put up much of a fight when we played them.

Chandler is terrible.

Lots of really similar players.

No chemistry.

Relying on PJ Tucker to play a major role.

Bledsoe out for the season.

Saw that and went to check and see if that was a record low for a 1st half...record is 19 by the Clippers.

I knew it wasn't a record for a half overall, because I was at the Houston-OKC game a couple of years ago when the Rockets scored 73 points in the first half...










and 19 in the 2nd half.

So we're almost halfway through the season and GS is shooting 42.2% from three as a team. If the season ended today, that'd be #2 behind the 96-97 Hornets who shot 42.7% from three. The difference is that Hornets team averaged 16.8 attempts per game whereas GS is jacking up 29.9. Pretty wild.

Year 6 of Mikhail Prokhorov ownership of the Brooklyn Nets. He will be hiring coach #5 soon as Lionel Hollins has been fired.

Their bad GM Billy King will be reassigned after he hires his replacement.

And for a little trivia...see if you can name the 4 Nets coaches since Prokhorov took over.
Answer here. (They all have significant history with teams in the Southwest Conference).

Not great, either. Plus if you like advanced stats, you don't like the Gay. Lots of bad shots taken to get his points, while Ryan Anderson is among the best shooters over 6'10.

You would think that between Gordon and Evans the pelicans have their fill of high volume shooters.

I would take Rudy back in Memphis for the melancholy Jeff Green and inconsistent Courtney Lee.

The difference is maybe a 6th seed and first round elimination in 6 games, instead of in 5.
