There are a lot of fun teams + players that don't have enough fans to support their own threads, so I figured we could put all of that in here.

Also, the team threads are effectively reserved for fans of that team (negative commentary from other fans is generally deleted along and the poster given a courtesy ban for his/her troubles), so having a neutral thread in which you don't have to worry about pissing off the locals seems like a good idea.

To start off, I've watched the last few GS games and Curry doesn't even seem to be playing the same game anymore. I've never seen somebody shoot like he is right now. He's jacking shots from 26, 27, 28 feet away from the basket as he looks for his heat check, and he still hasn't found it (seriously, he gives zero craps right now. If he's open-ish and can go through his shooting motion, he's letting it fly as long as he's within 30' of the basket). The wild part is that the other teams know it. They're covering him when he's several feet behind the 3pt line.

If you can catch any of their games on TV, do it. He's a blast to watch right now and this won't happen again for a long time.

Yes. I think they're out 3 starters or something like that. Right now that team is Anthony Davis and nobody else

Andre Drummond put up 29 points, 27 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks tonight while Reggie Jackson put up 40 points. The Pistons are actually decent this year and they could be legitimately good if 20&15 nights are the new regular for Drummond.

Golden State is going to repeat. Curry is ridiculous.

Two years ago, Lance Stephenson averaged 14/7/5 on .491/.352 shooting. Now he has a PER of 7.1, a TS% of .458 and he is a negative player on both ends of the court.

What happened?

No idea what happened with Stephenson, though he's always been a head case so it's not surprising that he's gone full... head case.

Wow. It's rare for hometown announcers to repeatedly call out their team's best player like that. Then again, it's also rare for one of the league's best players to not even try.

Hasaan Whiteside with triple double. Ten minutes left in the game and he has 17p 13r 10b. If he gets 10 assists in the next ten minutes, he can make it a quad-double!

Did you watch the "Extra Bloopers" at the end? At 3:57 he dumps water on his crotch.

Even when they were down 50-27 I didn't think it was too large of a deficit for a comeback. They shot lights out in the 4th to counter what the Clips did in the 1st.

And I love seeing the clippers lose. Especially in a way like last night.

Do they beat the Bulls 72-10 record?

Don't think so. They'll hit a slump. I predict 67+ wins though.

If Curry stays healthy they'll have a good chance at the record for sure.

By the end of last season, I'd completely given up on Rajon Rondo. Sure he wasn't trying all the time, but he played like complete ass even when he was (other than his one great game against Boston).

He's completely turned it around. His points/rebs/assists/steals are 12.6/7.6/10.1/2, and he's shooting .444/.364/.35 (that last number is amazing. I don't know how he's such an awful FT shooter. That's considerably worse than DeAndre).

Tonight he has 20 freaking assists. I guess Rondo isn't finished after all.

In looking at the schedule now for the Warriors, and unless they get injured, their toughest test in November is now the Jazz, then early December is a tour of the lower playoff teams of the East, thrown in with some low Eastern teams, then comes Christmas matchup with the Cavs.

So does Luke Walton get all these Warrior Ws on his record, or are they still going to Kerr? I didn't think Kerr was going to miss this many games. If they go to Kerr, then his coaching record is 85-15 through 100 games. If they go to Walton, well he's 18-0. Crazy stat either way.
