Finally...after leading the whole game, and after blowing a lead near the end, the Grizzlies win on a ZBo putback.

Grizz picked up a couple wins over the T'Wolves and a Durant-less Thunder squad.

The surprise is Mario Chalmers (!) has scored about 45 points in the two games, shooting well from the outside (he really could work with Grizzlies shooting coaches to lower that number in to the upper 20% region).


Three in a row is at least 3 in a row.

Now the Texas Trio for the next 4 games (Rockets, Mavs, Spurs, Rockets).

This Rockets game is pretty ugly.

I can't remember a game with more back to back turnovers.

Rockets not making shots they really should.

Grizz lead by 15

I thought the grizzlies turned the ball over a lot, until I watched the rockets.

Grizz have won 6 of 7 with 3 out of 4 games against the Southwest.

Courtney Lee and Jeff Green looked good.

Also, the last rockets game I thought the rockets would turn it around by this game.

Now, I'm not so sure.

Grizz down 5 to Sixers in the 4th.

This team this year.




Beating bad to OK teams, but getting thumped by really good teams, especially in the 3rd quarter.

They used to be mediocre on offense, and tough and energetic on defense.
Now they are slightly above mediocre on offense, but just look old on defense.

Oh hai, they are old!
Like really old.

Rumor is that Dave Joerger and John Hollinger are both on the hot seat.

After that collapse against Miami, I could see that happen.

2nd game in a row with ZBo coming off the bench, and TA getting a DNP-CD, and the Grizz beat another so-so team with the Wizards lacking Nene and Beal.

Still, nice to get a win after that blowing that freaking 11 point lead to Miami.

This team....another game against a team above .500, another horrible 3rd quarter, another loss.

Wasn't there a **** ton of Grizzlies posters last season? Where'd they all go?

I've basically quit texags except for following this thread and soccer board.

There were/are basically 3 Grizzlies fans posting last year, and then G-Soup who is a big Tony Allen fan. At playoff time, people will jump in during the Grizz games, which will only be 6 or so games into the first round the way they are playing.

Like Bo Ryan, Trevas, and Steve Spurrier, I don't have the energy and commitment to maintain doing whatever I was doing, which was to continue to post WWE Divas anymore after every win, or even post as much.

I haven't even re-entered the Kobe/MJ thread, although I think Duncan, like KAJ, is under appreciated.
And really, when you consider availability and longevity as important factors, KAJ should strongly be considered the greatest of all time.



But maybe it is the recycling of all texags.
Fran/Sherman/Sumlin are mediocre/disappointing/change is needed
My fantasy football team disappoints again.
Grizzlies can't make outside jumpers.

Grizzlies 2-4 on first night of B2B, and 5-1 on second night.
It's really more a product of playing better teams on the first night, I think.
Still, it makes about as much sense as any performance this team puts me through.

In the win tonight vs Pacers, TA still didn't play, and ZBo played only 14 minutes, and I'm probably fine with that.

It's not just more losses and disappointing play that makes me post less this season.
It's me turning into that guy that can't hardly stay up until the 4th quarter.
This team is old. I'm old, and yet juvenile enough to post wrestling gifs.


Since my last post, the Grizzlies have been undefeated in all games (when they lead at the end of the 4th quarter).
