The highlights (Starts talking about time with Rockets about 25 minutes in):

- Credited McHale for doing a lot for him, his career, and his family
- Though it was wrong for the Rockets to put "the heat" on McHale, didn't think he deserved it
- Still talks to McHale; texted a lot throughout last season and into the playoffs
- Says preseason was pretty shi**y; injuries didn't help; team didn't prepare well, they were playing catch-up all season
- Couldn't implement a lot of change once McHale left due to limited practice time in-season
- Says there was a lot of tension with the "proven guys" about how they could right the ship and make changes; assuming he is talking about Harden and Howard
-Says he thinks with everything that happened last year he was not the right person for the job and they needed to bring in someone fresh to get the team where they need to be
-Had high praise for Les, Morey, and others and how they handled him all season and beyond
-"There were things that happened throughout the year that tested relationships on the team" and hiring a new coach seemed like the right thing to do

I think he really is. Got thrown into a tough situation. Wish him the best in Memphis.

It is a shame JB was thrown into that situation for his first head job. He will get another chance.

Now that all the good things have been said about JB....woof, he was terrible last season.

The Warriors gave Andrew Bogut the option of choosing between Dallas and Houston as his trade destination, according to league sources. The Rockets were willing to make the same deal that the Mavs made to get the big man from Golden State. Philadelphia also showed heavy interest, but the Warriors felt they owed it to Bogut to send him to a team with realistic playoff hopes.

Signing Bogut would've meant no Nene and probably no restructure of Hardens contract. I think we are better off with how things played out.

Yeah, Bogut would be a poor fit in DAntoni's offense. Slow, old guys don't seem to do well with him.

Set up a trade for Westbrook?

I think if the Clips trade Griffin, it will be to OKC for Westbrook. I bet OKC really wishes it didn't trade Reggie Jackson for Penes Kanter and DJ Augustin right now.

Can Westbrook and anyone exist in the same back court? If anyone could, it could probably be Paul. He's pretty unselfish and would create a lot of easy drives for Russ.

Found this article interesting. Perspective from New Orleans' side on Ryan Anderson. Sounds like they liked him a lot. I had forgotten his girlfriend killed herself.
