You're not wrong about James, but this is almost as much on JB. He's the worst coach in the playoffs and it isn't close.

I don't think y'all understand how tough it is to constantly be engaged when you are playing 43 mpg and having to literally do everything on offense. The fundamental defensive problems I don't understand but if you've ever tried to play that much and constantly take the ball to the rim it is impossible to always have effort on d.

Your first post of the season is defending a terrible coach? I don't understand that.

Where does this team even go moving forward?

They need a coach who can hold Harden accountable, sure, but the rest of the team without Howard is a bunch of spares honestly.

I have commented on a few games before, so making assumptions is silly. And I'm not defending him. He is absolutely a terrible coach, but I just feel even an average coach would only have gotten marginally more from this team. There are chemistry problems on this team that go beyond the coach. Some of that is JB for sure. The rest is on your star players Harden and Howard. I just never understand why it has to be one or the other. To say that is not to defend one or the other by placing no blame at all on either party.

It has to be pretty deflating for guys like Howard and Harden when you are playing playoff basketball with a bunch of scrubs who can't hit open threes, convert easy passes, or help themselves from turning the ball over. Then you look across the way at your opponents stepping up when Curry goes out, hitting open shots, executing on both sides of the ball, and not putting it all on the shoulders of one or two guys.

This was about Howard. ABC showed a graphic that Howard hadn't scored in the 4th quarter of the previous 3 games.

Calling everyone else a chode is always a wonderful way to quell conflict.
