I found Kobe's farewell tour to be humorous. He basically just gave a middle finger to his whole team and just got his night after night after night. The team play was poor, he clearly did not spend any time mentoring young players and he really gave 2 craps about winning. It was just all about him and his loyal fans licking the gum off of his shoe. I'm glad he chose to leave the NBA in such a fashion. It is the way I hope to always remember him: Selfish.

Kobe basically died 3 years ago and we have seamlessly replaced him with a new crop of much more likeable stars. Its not like when MJ left (the second time) and there was a dearth of quality in the NBA. The NBA is loaded now! I actually think the game will be better off without Kobe. He was one of the last few successful Hero-ballers. The new NBA is more team oriented thanks to the rise of the Warriors and continued excellence of the Spurs. Future generations of kids may actually aspire to be good team players instead of hero ballers like Kobe.

No kidding. Beasley has been the 2nd best player on the team for several weeks now. I'm not sure JB even knows what JB is doing now.

I was killing it but then I took the weekend off for my ring weekend and then got killed tonight. I may wait until the playoffs or only enter a couple small tourneys the next couple nights.
