I absolutely love this pick. That kid can ball, he has got a scoring and passing skill set that should translate to the NBA well.

How does someone earn the SEC Defensive Player of the Year......then "can't guard anyone"? I understand his height is an issue, but the kid can play basketball. Isaiah Thomas (Celtics) is 5-9. There are a lot of solid PGs right at 6.

What is this "guard" your referring to? Is that like a defensive thing? I'm pretty sure that a team that just gave up 124 point to a Suns team that has very little NBA caliber talent has no use for that whole defensive thing.

IMO, a 3 guard that can score on a consistent basis. Ariza plays great defense but he isn't dependable night in and night out on the scoreboard, not to mention the majority of his points come off shots created by James.
