Gary Payton should've been drafted. Great defender. 3.1 steals and 1.2 blocks per game wow. Great athlete.

Is he staying in China for next season?
My understanding is he may play one more season in China before he comes over, but the Rockets are still exploring their options. His buyout is $675,000. He is currently playing on the Chinese Mens National Team.

I think he'd be a D league candidate this season for sure...he needs to bulk up some more, but I like the potential with little risk involved.

Wiltjer had knocks on athleticism and defense but he can shoot the ball lights out. Just ridiculous numbers from three. If the staff works with him he could be something special.

No, I agree he wouldn't be a starter or anything. Think more like a Delfino or Garcia role where you just come off the bench and knock down some threes when called upon. We had a rough go of that this year.

thats because on an east team he makes them a contender from day one. celtics and heat are already playoff teams as well... not like he is going to philly or brooklyn

As an overall basketball fan, I'd really want him to go to the East... Not enough good teams over there... The Celtics wouldn't be a bad choice, but they aren't win now.
