Living in Fort Worth, I love League Pass. It's absolutely great to be able to watch the Rockets at the tip of my finger.

Yeah, it doesn't work like that. It is an out of country service that is not paying the NBA for the right to stream the games.

Just because you pay for it, doesn't mean it is legal.

The NBA doesn't circumvent their multi-billion dollar TV deal blackout rules with the networks by using a sketchy overseas company, then charging 1/3rd the price of League Pass for more games and options.

I live in Chicago so I won't have to worry about The Rockets being blacked out!

My brother had league pass when he was living in west Texas and as far as I know he loved it. The package he had allowed you to pick up to 5 teams that you wanted to follow, so he just picked Houston and a few other western conference teams I think.

The only time you have to worry about it being blacked out is if the game is on ESPN, TNT, NBA TV, etc. Which obviously isn't a big deal since you can still watch it on those channels. I would recommend it with you being in Chicago!

I hate that I can't watch these games because I don't have Root Sports and even more that League Pass has blackouts within the Houston TV market. That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Does anybody know their reasoning behind doing that?

It's so that the cable companies can have a broadcast monopoly on the home city. What cable do you have that doesn't carry Root Sports?

Obviously that site is just some random site, but after watching all the random streaming sites of opposing team broadcasts of our games in the dark Comcast days, we honestly have it pretty good. Drexler is unequivocally bad, and Bill can be a homer obviously/his age is catching up with him some, but Bill still has a pretty good job and I genuinely feel that Bull is a solid color guy (inb4 THATS RACIST).

Have they listened to Clyde before?

Bull is soooooo much better than Clyde on the broadcast. But we should all be glad that Calvin Murphy is not the analyst anymore.

You think so? I always thought he was great. But I was a kid when he was doing it. I still think he has some great insight during the halftime thing.

I like Clyde's insight because he knows what it's like from the perspective of a star on the team.

The older I get, the more annoying the homerism is getting. Sometimes the Rockets are just playing like they have their heads stuck up their ass (which they tend to do 40% of the time) and they will just complain about the officials. I would like more objective and technical analysis with a sprinkling of homerism. Bullard is the closest to that, but he is largely overshadowed by the other two.

Bill is slowly getting worse at calling games and Clyde is unwatchable. He may provide a superstar's perspective, but he doesnt seem to understand the non-superstar perspective. The worst is when he complains that someone like Pat Beverley didnt just jump over everyone and throw it down...

I agree he is good with his role as halftime and postgame analyst, just didn't like him for 2.5 hours at a time.
