But if you are going to have a D+3 point guard, Harden is pretty much the ideal SG to have. He can create for himself and other players. But you probably want a SF that can create as well. Even though Ariza can be a great spot shooter, you still really want a second person that can create shots. There aren't as many guys that fit that from SF or PF, though. Hard to find the talent.

I'd still always love to have a guy like Bev if for nothing else than to be PG on the 2nd team and to come in when you need some stops.

Yeah, I think Bev would be an ideal backup PG. I'm not sure he fits as a starter.
