It's really stupid, but the more guys that are defending a player, the more the refs will overlook fouls. So if LeBron drives and 2 GS players slide over to help, it's going to take one of them hitting LeBron with a crowbar to draw a foul. It shouldn't be this way (a foul is a foul), but the refs do it a lot, and they've definitely done it to LeBron this series. He's been pummeled when he's driven double and triple teams.

The sad part is that when he kicks it out to someone who's wide freaking open, they fail him more often than not. Smith is shooting 26% from the 3pt line and on probably 2/3 of those shots, there was no one within 7' of him when he let fly. So more often than not, a triple-teamed, hacked shot by LeBron is the best option for the Cavs.

Had Irving not fractured a knee cap, this series might have been over in 5. If anything you should be a bit worried about what LeBron and scrubs from the east are doing against one of the best single season teams in history.

But only worry about it if you're one of those dbags who somehow finds allegiance in NBA conferences. Which is weird as ****.

Agree the west is clearly better overall, but the east is 5-6 in the last 11 finals. (before that they lost 4 straight but dominated the 90s thanks to jordan)

Not like they've been over matched when the best from each conference face off in the end.

Now the commentators are saying that LeBron is taking bad shots and that he needs to make smart basketball plays. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

There are several players I'd take over Lebron. Basketball is a team sport for a reason, and it's evident in this series.

Lebron is who they are pulling for. He is very easy to root for.

I think you misunderstood. The reason so many people on this forum are rooting for the Cavs is because this forum is littered with butthurt Rockets fans.

Irving was giving curry fits defensively. Delly is getting pub for defense but he can't handle curry. Kyrie was able to still get back and block a shot if curry blew by him.

Not saying they would have won in 5, but without him they were up 2-1 going to game 4 at home with a chance to lead 3-1 and clamp down the series. Kyrie could have definitely helped get them over the edge.

But I like GS too. I've said as much all series on this thread. I have no issues with them winning the series. They're one of the best teams I've seen I a while, and really fun to watch.

Just had to simmer down some of the odd obsessed western conference Homers as if it matters what conference the champ comes from in the NBA.

No joke basketball is a team sport. The cavs are severely shorthanded due to injuries and they are still competing with the top record team in the league.
