Despite all the strategic maneuvering and whatnot, this game ultimately came down to GS making open their open 3's and Cleveland missing their open 3's.
Disagree. GS has a ton of missed wide open shots and unforced turnovers. They are getting whatever they want and shooting themselves in the foot a lot

Warriors 12/29 from 3, Cavs 4/25

He kinda has a point

Cavs are done. I don't think they have anything left tonight.

Time to pull the starters and get an early start on that extra day off.

Lol. 20/12/8 with absolutely no help from anyone other than mozgov, running on fumes with possibly the worst roster in nba finals history, going against one of the greatest single season teams in history, and after the loss to make the series tied at 2, the haters think it's OK to come back out of the woods to start dogging him?

Ok.

I was dogging him after game three when everyone was giving him the championship.

Ok.
Well at least since the 2007 Cavs, anyway.

Why would you dog him after game 3? Mozgov is a quality starter, and after that, the closest anybody else on his team should get to the Finals is front row seats. So yea his shooting percentage is a bit low, but he's playing 45+ minutes a game, busting his ass on defense, and gets triple teamed every time he touches the ball on offense (and his triple teamed shot is still usually the best option for the team).

And Cavs are one LeBron or shumpert rim out from being up 3-1.

I agree with you both. GS is a great shooting team and has been awful the last 2 games - hence shooting themselves in the foot. Cavs are not a great shooting team... JR and Shump can get hot, but they can be awful, like they have in the finals.

I thought after the fourth quarter Tuesday night that it was going to be Warriors in six.

No help? The lanky white guy was doing way more than LeBron was

Most of us saw this coming. You just can't keep up that kind of sustained, fanatical effort playing that many minutes. LeBron and Delly, especially, were spent.

Some of us saw this coming a year ago when the Cavs traded two players and a draft pick they could have used for a player they didn't need.

I appreciate greatness when I see it, and the fact that LeBron seems like a pretty decent dude makes it easier to appreciate. Some of you seem to want to player-hate so much that you couldn't appreciate one of the all-time efforts when it was happening.

The fact that the Cavs got spanked in the first game LeBron didn't have a superhuman performance actually reinforces what many of us have been saying--- he's singlehandedly carrying a poor cast to where they are a legit threat to win it all.

I've maintained since the beginning that there's just too much on one guy, and that the better team should win out, but that really doesn't diminish what LeBron has done/is doing.

And I'm a team guy, not someone who really roots for star players like a lot of NBA fans do, and a Spurs fan to boot.

I agree. LeBron is great. But they are dead ass gassed by the fourth quarter. They can't keep up with GS. If they weren't so injury riddled it would be different.

where are the guys that were tellng me on this thread that the Cavs depth wasnt gng to end u wearing thm out?

I hoestly dont think they are done. Why?

Because 1)they have 2 days rest now for Lebron and Delly and 2) they havent gotten anything out or JR or Shumpert.

They could steal this next game in GS. Its not impossible as seen in game 2. If they dont they have a home game to force it to game 7. I think the chances of them winning one of those is pretty decent.

Then its game 7. Yeah its at GS, but its game 7. All bets are off at that point because of Lebron.

I dont think the series is over/

So because the cavs had one bad game and looked tired the series is over ? This is after most warriors lovers were calling for a sweep or 5 game series win. Now since it is 2-2 I guess they feel justified.

And thanks cokehead. Keep up that snobby spurs attitude you have always had, there's a reason no one likes you on here.

They looked really tired in 4q of game three as well. They were fortunate to be up by a ton heading into it.

Dang it. My last paragraph got cut off when I edited. What I was going to say is that the biggest difference was actually the Cavs getting worn out without holding a big lead. That is the only way they can beat golden state, because GSW will own the last quarter of every game due to depth. All the warriors have to do is stay even through 3 quarters and they will coast. The Cavs require a late double digit lead just to have a real chance.

I haven't posted yet on this series...but my thoughts:

-LeBron should have won MVP each year for the last 5+ years. He is the best player on the planet and it isn't really even close.
-He is literally everything the Cavs have (Della and Mozgov have been good) left at this point. Them winning two games so far is all on him...obviously.
-Warriors haven't been close to playing their best yet (Game 4 was close). I think Curry has been playing nervous, and it's affecting his game.
-I don't see the Cavs playing any better. Sure, JR Smith could have a hot game, but they just don't have the talent.
-If Curry AND Klay are both on their game at the same time, Warriors win by 20+.
-I'd take Kawhi over Draymond on my team every day of the week.
-'01 Sixers and '07 Cavs are equally horrible for an NBA finals team. As ragtag as this years Cavs are, they have some players coming into their own, they just don't the depth.
-That Cedar guy is hilarious.

Well Curry certainly isn't the MVP or best player in the league. Just like Harden, if you get up into his dribble and help on the drive, he is lost. Not only that he rarely ever drives left and his behind the back dribble move only goes right.

Lebron is far and away a better basketball player than Curry.

MVP isn't an award for the best player in the league. We get it. LeBron does it all and only needs 4 scrubs on the floor with him to qualify as a team. LeBron does all by himself. *eyeroll*

The Cavs need to go down their bench at least a little if they have any hopes of fighting back. Miller, Marion, or Haywood should be able to give at least 10 good minutes in between the rests in their wheelchairs.

Semi surprised they didn't even try Miller last game. Just play pick and role with LeBron and Jack 3s

Because his game was 100% athleticism and he's hit the wall and is done.
