i just can't see the Warriors holding up to the clippers or rockets size in a 7 game series. Yes if CP3 comes back this series and that's a big if hamstrings aren't a joke then the rockets should be really worried after tonight.

Not sure how anyone could think we'd take this series after watching some pretty shaky ball against Dallas.......if it were anyone but the craptastic Mavs we'd have been run off the floor. That's coming to fruition right now. I don't care what anyone says, Bev is the heart and soul of this team, not Harden. We managed 2 months without Dwight and held serve.......Bev goes down and the fight just went out of this team. I said before the series, Clips in 6 and that's ONLY because we have home court. We just got embarrassed by a CP3-less Clips team......now I just hope we win a game

I thought the a Rockets had the edge in bench play and that Harden would dominate

The effort here is whatever is below pathetic.

The Mavs were not very good, and actually played a pretty good series considering the Parsons injury and the Rondo debacle. Houston looked awful last night, but to be fair, LAC didn't look that great either (20+ TO). You can't give up back to back 37 and 34 point quarters on your home court in the playoffs when the other team is missing their floor leader. I don't even know how the Rockets could be that bad.

All Houston can do is just hope it was a one game blip.

Wow. Complete lack of mental toughness there at the end. Hopefully they feel embrassed enough to come out on fire in Game 2. That's not the kind of thing you expect to see in the 2nd round of the playoffs from a veteran team.

Paul is doubtful for Game 2. Anyone think he actually gives it a go or will the Clippers be more conservative with a one game lead?

Clips already took homecourt advantage from us. I don't see why they would risk bringing him back too early with already having a 1-1 split, at worst, heading back to LA. I'd be shocked if he played tonight.

Clips are just a bad matchup for the Rockets. Defensive presence in Jordan. Post player in Griffin who can get you in foul trouble and spot up shooters.

Everyone is talking about how bad Houston is playing defense but no one seems to think that Bev being out has anything to do with that. Without Bev Houston doesn't have anyone to stay in front of point guards. Letting a point guard run free opens up the entire team for good shot. Look at the dallas series. Barrea gave them fits because no one could stay with him.

bev being out really hurts the team defensively.
