Clippers in 6 of CP3 is healthy.

Hedging my bets and I'll say 6.

I'll stick with my Clippers in 7 prediction from the other thread.

The only thing that will surprise me is if the series ends in 5 games or less; no other outcome would surprise me.

Even though Summit is the only one if you losers i like, good luck in round 2. Hopefully you do what my Spurs couldn't. I'll root for y'all because you're the lesser of two evils.

@Jonathan_Feigen: Doc Rivers said he would "guess now" that Chris Paul won't be able to play Game 1 in Houston on Monday.

Can't say I'll be rooting for Houston but I'll be rooting against the Clippers.

Barnes isn't in the NBA for his dashing good looks and warm disposition.

Rockets won the last 2 matchups without Dwight.

Clippers have seven guys they can play and just finished up a hellacious seven game series with the Spurs. They have to be exhausted. I would be very impressed if the Clippers won this series.

Outside of curry there isn't another point guard in the league that can create as much havoc for the rockets as Chris Paul can.

We don't have any guards that can stay in front of him and he will find griffin and Jordan on lobs all series. And when he gets two feet in the paint he will find open shooters.

As crazy as this sounds I think this series is won or lost with how well reddick, Crawford and Barnes shoot their open premiter looks.

James harden is going to have the series of his life for us to pull this thing out

Maybe not the whole game but in crunch time and likely the 2ND half I except Ariza will guard Paul. The clips other guards aren't super explosive pursue Crawford. Hopefully Terry and Pablo can stay closet to them.

Yeah I expect Ariza to cover Paul. Maybe Harden but only if he gives WAY more effort defensively than last series.

The Rockets bench and big men need to win this series.

Was really hoping for the Spurs as a Rockets fan. Honest opinion is that we should be underdogs against both without Bev, but the Clippers are going to expose Terry and Prig even more than the Spurs would have. Worst part is that Dwight is going to have to keep giving lots of help and that leaves DeAndre free to gather tons of offensive boards. Gonna be a big challenge

Paul is still going to go right past Ariza if healthy.

He can contend and slow down Paul better than our 38 year old point guards, but he stil doesn't have the foot speed to stay with him.

We are going to set a record for alley oop dunks in this series I guarantee it.

I don't get the ESPN predictions. Doesn't seem like they care that the clippers are 6 deep and their starters are playing 40+ a game and that now Paul has a hamstring issue.

On Friday, Legler and Cowherd immediately wrote off the Rockets against either team. Amazing seeing as we are the 2 seed despite missing one of our stars for 2/3 of the season

That's because for some strange reason, he tries to be nice to y'all and sucks up to you.

If we can keep the tempo fast and play the defense we played in the regular season rather than the Mavs series, I like our chances. I do agree that this series could ultimately come down to how well Reddick and Barnes shoot from the outside.

If CP3 gets healthy, he's going to go off on Houston like Kevin Johnson did against Kenny Smith & Sam Cassell 20 and 21 years ago.

in 94, KJ averaged 26.6 points and 9.7 assists
In 95, he averaged 27.9 points and 9.4 assists.

In 94 a player not involved in this current series had a lot of great stats.
In 95 that same player did something similar

Good discussion here. Thought this was the most interesting note and I agree with it. Could be in for some long games if both teams start using this strategy.

We'll see if McHale is smart enough to get Brewer on CP3 as much as possible. Quicker than Ariza side to side and long enough to contest every shot. It's his only hope outside of the injury in slowing him

CP3 will participate on shoot around and is a game time decision.

Be interesting to see how much of a toll that last series took on LA. Early prediction is Houston in 6 due to the long series LA is coming off and CP's injury.

If these teams met at the beginning of the playoffs, I would take Clips to win the series. Just shows how much good fortune plays a role in crowning a potential champion. Just look at Golden State getting NO and then a Conley-less MEM.
