For me:

1.) San Antonio: Model organization. Fun brand of basketball. Good group of guys on their last run.

2.) Golden State: Tons of fun to watch. Love Curry. Love Kerr. Great team.

3.) Cleveland: LeBron has his faults, but I think he's one of the all-time greats and I'd like to see him have enough championships to knock out that argument against him.

I have no interest in Atlanta or Memphis, and I actively dislike LAC and Houston. I like Chicago a little, but not enough to root for them over a Finals with Cleveland.

I'm a Spurs fan but If we get knocked out I would probably like to see 1.) Memphis make a run at it out West. We've had some battles over the years with them and I respect that team when and after we play them. 2.) Atlanta or "Spurs-East" out of the eastern conference for obvious reasons. Also wouldn't mind seeing Chicago get back there for the D-Rose comeback story and I like Butler, Gasol. But I am not a fan of Joakim Noah at all so I dunno.

Pretty much what Sher said, except Atlanta 1 and Memphis 2.

Anyone but the Clippers. Just an awful awful franchise

Spurs fan here.

I'll go with:
1) Warriors - they are incredibly fun to watch and deserving
2) Griz for the reasons Sher mentioned
3) The LeBrons

14) Clippers - can't stand Chris Paul. Only person I like on that team is Jordan.
15) Rockets

I'm torn after my first pick. On the one hand I like Lebron so I want him to win but I don't like Love. Houston is right out. I would like them more if not for TexAgs and basketball other. GS is fun to watch.

1. Atlanta - Spurs East
2. Memphis
3. Cleveland
4. Chicago

Well, I'll have to see who is still playing, and how much flopping has been going on, but it will probably be:

1) Duncan & Spurs
2) Hawks
3) Bulls

15) Clippers

MAVS fan. Anyone but the Spurs. In order, removing teams that definitely won't make it out of the first round, I'd say:

1 - Washington
2 - Atlanta
3 - Chicago
4 - Cleveland
5 - Toronto
6 - LA
7 - Memphis
8 - Houston (I live in Houston. Actually wouldn't mind too much if the Rockets won.)
9 - GS

10 - SA

Full disclosure: David Robinson is my all-time 2nd most favorite player behind Dirk. I really starting following/cheering for Dallas at the beginning of the Jim Jackson era, so there were a lot of crap years until Dirk came along. I actually pulled for SA to win in 99. Since then? They're dead to me.

2) GS
3) MEM
4) ATL
5) CLE

Don't really care either way
6) POR
7) CHI
8) WAS

10) BKN

Don't want to see win:

I don't know how anyone can have THAT much contempt for the Spurs. I see how people don't like Manu flopping, I guess I can see people complaining about Tim wanting every call, but other than that, I just don't see it.

It's a model franchise, with a class act coach and players. We don't start fights, we don't do finger guns after making three pointers, we don't dunk the ball and mean mug opposing crowds. We have a team full of guys who managed to stay humble after winning multiple championships.

Look at the list of showboating ********s that haven't won ****. THOSE are the kinds of players that I actively cheer against. I didn't have a problem with Houston until they got Harden and Howard, two of the most ridiculous idiots playing right now. I won't even mention that you signed Jason ****ing Terry. Not a lot to like on that team.

I used to hate the Mavs (during their Jason Terry years) but now they are my number two team to root for. Dirk was a one of kind talent all these years, and he managed to not be a total assclown about it. I respect that. I'm also a huge fan of Carlisle. What a professional.

I understand the problems you may have with Howard, he has been less than a model teammate in the past. But, what po9ssible problem could you have with James Harden's attitude?

Most non-Rockets fans don't like how he creates and exaggerates contact and ignores defense (more of a problem last year than this year.)

I'll buy that, his game is predicated on getting to the line. He has taken a lot of contact this year to get those frree throws. His defense was embarassingly bad, he has worked on it and made it a strength of his game.

Defense is not a strength of Harden's game in any way. It just isn't as much of a black hole this year.

Harden creates a lot of the contact he takes and he greatly exaggerates a lot of the contact that is made - just like Ginobili and Dirk.

His total lack of giving a **** on defense bothers me so bad. Defense is about effort, and he is one of the most athletically gifted humans on Earth. There is no excuse for how bad he is on defense.

He also celebrates menial plays too much (like hitting a three). Just rubs me the wrong way when someone celebrates hitting a wide open three, especially after it comes off not playing defense, which I've specifically seen him do.

Not at all. I don't expect fans of other teams to root for the Spurs.

I said I don't understand hating them, like this clown DC99 does.

He hates them so much, he goes on Spurs threads and "predicts" them to lose. What did the Spurs do to this dude to warrant that?

While Harden will never ever be compared to guys like Gary Payton on the defensive end, he has made some dramatic improvements in that department of his game this year compared to previous seasons

You have not been watching this season. He has gone from a terrible defensive player to a slightly above average defender. His experience leading Team USA last summer looks to have had a huge impact on his game.

I just find it funny that pretty much everything that everyone complains about other teams doing, their team and stars do, too. All stars complain about fouls. Pretty much everyone exaggerates contact to get the call.

Except the Clippers. They flop more than anyone.

He is not above average. I watched and attended a bunch of Rockets games. He isn't a black hole. He puts in much more effort. But he isn't good or above average, either. Compared to last year, he should be DPOY.

I'm still not sure why anyone is rooting for Atlanta. The 5-10 people on Texags might be the only ones who even know they're in the playoffs. I'm not sure their own city is aware of their existence. They're too worried about UGA's backup punter, probably, for the fall that's 6 months away.

There is that. He also played a ton of minutes on a top 10 defensive team, which is how that metric is calculated. If he had played for the Memphis Grizzlies all year, he likely would have led the league in defensive win shares, assuming he still played 3000 minutes.

Harden had more DWin Shares than Trevor Ariza. Harden had over double what Pat Bev had. Harden even had over 40% more than LeBron James. Does that mean he was better than all those players defensively?
