Man Blake is such a bad matchup for us this series because of Tiago's situation. Nobody else poses this threat down low in the west if we can just get past this series.

And Parker is playing terrible
He blew his hammy in the WCF that year and was hurt for the finals. He's been nicked up or straight injured pretty consistently since about '08. Even last year I think he played on a sprained ankle most of the playoffs. It just sucks when people laugh at the spurs losing when the starting PG is at half strength.

Honestly, if Mills weren't in foul trouble I'd want him playing 30 minutes. He makes Paul play really hard. Paul is shooting out of this world and TP is basically a non-factor with the bum leg.

Belinelli finally showed up on defense! If he can combine effort with his brains to the defensive end, he becomes a pretty dangerous two way player.
Tim Duncan. I'm running out of ways to describe how great this guy is. He turns 39 Saturday, he's matched up against a 26-year old DPOY candidate, and all he's done is drop 16 points on 8/9 shooting mostly in postup iso.
Last time we drew the Clips, Griffin wasn't much of a player. He could run and jump, but he had no outside shot, no post moves, and only the most rudimentary court sense. That has changed big time. He doesn't always shoot like this, but he's playing smart and getting himself and his team tons of great looks with his versatile post game and passing.

He got a few solid contract offers after that year that SA didn't match, so he bolted. He's done okay. His shooting percentages have dropped, but he's been on some really crappy teams that don't generate good looks (and as we well know, Neal's taking the shot whether it's good or not, so you'd better get him a high percent one).

I agree about Parker. CoJo doesn't have Mills' range, but he's got a fairly good pull up jumper out to 15' or so, which means he isn't a complete liability on O (and it's not like Parker has much more range that that either. Just let them take turns hounding Chris Paul for 40+ minutes and make Griffin score 50.

That's the thing about Duncan. He's rarely put up the monster numbers that put him in contention for the scoring title, but that's more because he's happy to pass up shots so that somebody else on the team can get a better one (and even for longterm team harmony, which is important for building a dynasty). But when the team needs him, he is more than capable of stepping up and scoring like the rest of the all-time greats. Even at thirty freaking nine.
