The announcers for the Memphis game were talking about the "hero ball" as well, but apparently tnt is trying to get hero ball to mean team basketball like the Spurs play. Who knows. I think it's dumb either way

Whomever is in charge of teaching our bigs to pass should get a raise. Baynes with a great pass to Tim to take the lead.
Not unpopular. I will say that he does have a tendency to just hit a switch though.

To me, a major difference in this quarter so far has been the Clippers started to go back to what always ends up killing themselves... Trying to play 1on1. They started the game flying up n down the court moving the ball all over. Now it's 1on1 dribbling trying to create their own shot and their suffering from it
Spacing is infinitely better right now, which is leading to our better ball movement and open looks.
Just to add some non-Spurs commentary, CP3 needs to drive the dang ball when he gets a mismatch. The clippers have looked really hesitant in the 2nd quarter on offense. The Spurs are good at forcing the Clips to take those midrange jumpers.
Pop like Tony on the pick-and-roll but LA is trapping off it and Tony seems confused about what to do. He can't find passes because he's got Paul and a big trapping.
To beat it, he has to spilt that trap and get fouled.
Interestingly enough, LA isn't playing anyone else that way. Manu is getting the normal switch and mismatch, which is why he's so much more effective.

Spurs do a good job baiting people into this. Paul can take Tony all day long, but we rotate quick and force him to take a mid range jumper or dump it to Jordan who can't make a free throw.
