Is every rockets fan going to ask us the same question?

So Splitter, Parker, and Green are worthless.

Kawhi is doing ok but he's not threatening the paint.

Manu, Baynes, and Diaw seem to have the best chemistry.

Duncan is Duncan.

Mills can't get any PT regardless of how he plays.

Belinelli is afraid Jordan will impregnate him if he gets in the restricted area.
Obi Wan Ginobili

Of course they are. They have nothing left.

The Spurs shot 78% on the year. Hack away. We have a team full of grown ass men who learned to hit free throws.

Yes, but the question is if you had a Jordan-Esque FT shooter on your team would you appreciate another team doing the hack strategy?

Overall, I think the Spurs are in a good spot in this game. They had good spacing, did their typical Spurs force switch, force double team, quick pass easy basket thing. They just couldn't knock down the shots. They're forcing the Clippers to take midrange jumpers, which I think plays to the Spurs advantage throughout the game. Not much around the hoop given up, which usually bodes well for a team over the course of the game. Spurs have gotten better looks, in my opinion.

I couldn't care less.

End of hack-a-whatever talk.

Green must be in the dog house. I don't think he played in the second quarter. He needs to get his confidence back.

Why doesn't Mills get PT? He scares me each time he shoots a 3.

I get it. You think you're asking a hypothetical question. The problem is that two years ago, it wasn't a hypothetical. Tiago used to shoot 50% and teams took advantage. Now he is mid-70s.

A rule is a rule is a rule. If the NBA wants to protect players from embarrassing themselves by missing uncontested, 15 foot set shots, that's fine, but don't act like its for the betterment of the game. You want the game to be better, have better rounded players. They get paid millions. They can hit a ****ing standing still shot from spitting distance.

I don't think it's affective as far as changing the outcome of the game (hacking Jordan) But it definitely kills momentum and crowd buildup on occasion. Probably saves the Spurs some of their legs for later in the game also since they aren't wasting energy playing defense.

I think if it helps you win (preventing possessions, killing momentum, etc.) then do it. And man, Obi Wan Ginobli is a lot more sensitive and angry than the real Obi Wan.

The Clippers went up 7 and had the momo. It could have easily ballooned up to double digits without the hack.

And Don Nelson used to hack the Spurs all the time back in the day.

What, Obi Wan was neither sensitive nor angry. Pretty sure he was the opposite of those things. Especially since anger and hate lead to the dark side.

Wouldn't be surprised if SA opened up the half on a little run. Get Mills in, force the double teams, make the extra pass, knock down shots.

Another bad miss by the refs. Griffin got nothing but Timmy's arm on that one.

Kahwi has the best swiping hands in the NBA. He's so good at that. And the Spurs need to get DJ in foul trouble. I think Diaw is the most effective at getting good looks on him because of his quickness and range. He could get some iso and potentially force DJ to commit some fouls. He's clearly a big factor down low on the defensive end in terms of making the Spurs more cautious going in down low.

This is terrible basketball by both teams. Tough to watch.

I think the thought of Deandre being down there is really effecting our finishing in the paint in a big way.
