Steven Adams out 3 weeks, had surgery on his hand today.

The OKC vs GSW first round series is going to be insanely entertaining. I am so glad I am not a fan of either of those teams.

Collison played more than well enough, and for that matter, so did a lot of other players.
I always think that Collison is one of the keys to the Grizzlies / Thunder game.
That, and who's the most desperate.

They'll definitely make the playoffs but seeing Durant limp up and down the court makes you wonder if they rushed him back too soon (obvious they did).
They can play upset in the first round or two but they wont make a serious run with Durant hobbling and I just don't see how that foot will get anywhere close to 100% this year.

That really doesn't make any sense because OKC just got a lot better with the deadline trade.
Yeah that is a head scratcher, was this something from the GQ piece? If so, he clarified his comments during shoot around on Thursday with the local media.
I heard it on Fox Sports radio. They were wanting their NBA experts opinion on KD not being happy and how the trades help him.
Yeah it's gotta be stemming from one comment he made in the GQ article. It was something about the Harden deal, but it was taken out of context (so Durant says)

I haven't gotten to watch any OKC games. How has Mitch been playing?
Now that he is healthy, he is balling out, already a fan fave.
Mitch hustles but he's still pretty raw. Looked lost vs Memphis but has played well against teams without a lot of good size. I like his motor and he will only get better.

KD has screw removed from his foot, could be out a week. Or longer of course. Have to play it cautious, foot injuries are just too damned finicky. Tough timing (never is a good time though) as we have PHX and POR coming up
Phoenix is in trouble. I honestly like seeing the new guys get minutes so I am ok with him missing now. Not sure why it was not done over the a All Star break as he was clearly uncomfortable before then.

I like Kanter's game. Heard a report his 20/10 game last night was first ever by a center in the OKC era. If true that is amazing.

My point is that's its amazing we've been so successful without even decent post offense.
Heard a good point today, and would have made sense last night...if Durant was there last night it allows Ibaka to play the 5 against teams like that and KD can play the 4.
