Spurs are playing a forgiving opponent tonight. Don't look that sharp or either end. And yet still up by 12 at half.

What is left of Phx is not good.

Westbrook just got his 16th technical foul and will miss the season finale against POR.

What a moron!

I really thought Phoenix was going to continue to improve over last season.

Indiana up 9 with less than 5 minutes left.

Hornets Pelicans are going to clinch the playoffs before the Spurs play them.

They regressed after midsession. Injuries may have played a part. And Suns aren't competent enough to fill out a game roster sheet either, apparently

What a moron!

Westbrook is 3 rebounds and 2 assists from a 50 point triple double, but also got himself suspended from their next game, which is a must-win game against a playoff team. That's pretty much the most Westbrook thing ever. Shooting 4-12 from three, so well over his season average of 29%.

@NBA: Duncan passes Moses Malone for most games played in @NBA History. @Spurs in control over @Suns at half-time, 51-39. http://t.co/mZW1B84WsK

Edit: Now in ranked 11th. Credit to Guitarsoup for the info.

Duncan is now 11th in Games played. Don't think he is going to play another 300 to pass Robert Parish. Five more games gets him past Gary Payton for top 10. If Duncan plays next year and plays 70 games, he passes Jason Kidd, Reggie Miller and Clif Robinson for #7.

Now that's awesome.

Edit: Not as awesome based on post above.

Wow. Had no idea. Another quiet Duncan record

Edit: that original post made it sound like #1 all time. 11th makes much more sense

Duncan is 8th in Career Rebounds. He is 5th for players that played after the merger (including Kareem and Parish who played before and after.) If he plays next year about how he played this year, he will be 3rd in rebounds for players after the merger after Kareem and Moses Malone.

Duncan is 6th in blocks. If he plays another year like this year (about 150 blocks, including cleanly stuffing the **** out of James Harden's game winning attempt), Duncan will be 4th after Hakeem, Mutumbo and Kareem.

Duncan is 15th all time in points and 12th for players from after the ABA merge. He is about 50 points from 26,000 career points. If he plays one more season and gets about 1100 points like the last few years, he will be top 10 all time and 8th from post-merger with just a hair over 27k points.

Letting Phx hang around far too deep into this one.

Spoiled are we? 10+ point lead into the 4th is typically a good sign the game will go your way.

Super spoiled. Teams like Phoenix in the last month we've blown out.

If I'm spoiled. Sean Elliot is spoiled. I'm happy to have my opinion aligned with him.

Phx has 2 players on their bench. TWO.

Good to see the Spurs FINALLY wear down the Suns and put this away.

This will be the last game we can play this sloppy offensively and lax defensively (for 3 quarters) and win from now on.

We are blowing them out... We just aren't up by 30 at the half. Spurs be en fuego!

Point being... The Spurs know they can't hang, and they aren't wasting their energy beating them like a drum. They've handled them the entire game. Easy W.

Spurs still the hottest team in the NBA over the last 25% of the season.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't last year similar. Only difference is the west is much stronger all around. But the Spurs were very much the dominant team going into the playoffs and it continued till they lifted the Trophy. But the Warriors pose a bigger threat than any team did last year. But Good luck against Old Man River and Co.

Don't care what HOU does. Beat the Pels and they're not an issue.

I don't care about HOU either. If NO won then they would have been closer to locking up 8 spot. I'd rather they not need to beat us in order to make the playoffs.

If the Spurs, Clips, Grizz, and Rockets win out... The Spurs are 2. Would the Clips really slide to 6?? Doesn't seem right.

You're right, my scenario has Houston losing one.

I think Houston wins out unless tonight's game really wore them out. They have to fly to North Carolina to play the Hornets tomorrow night.

But still, the Hornets and Jazz both suck. They shouldn't lose either one.

Someone posted this to r/NBA on reddit

Edit: fyi this was created after the SAS v HOU game Friday, so with today's games a lot of scenarios are no longer possible.
