Ok. I've seen conflicting comments on here regarding the spurs chances at seeding. Could someone clear it up?
It seems to me that if the Spurs win out, they'll be 56-26. If the Grizz lose a game, they'll be 55-27. It doesn't matter what the rockets do in that scenario. Therefore, we would win the SW division and be the 2 seed. Is this not correct?
If it comes down to a 2-way tie between us and Clippers, then LAC has head to head tiebreaker.
In a 3-way SA/Mem/LAC tie, we are obviously the 5 hole (this is the situation this morning). Division champ has to be determined first, and Mem would go over us.
In a 3-way SA/Hou/LAC tie, we get the 2 seed. Division champ has to be determined first, and we would be division champ in this scenario.
In a 4-way SA/Mem/Hou/LAC tie, we get the 2 seed. Division champ has to be determined first, and we would be division champ in this scenario.
As someone else mentioned, and I've said a couple of times, we lost control of our destiny to stay out of the 5 hole with the Clips winning last night.
