Compare that to Tim Duncan, who takes 51.6% of his shots in the paint, 46% from midrange, and practically none from 3.
For reference, Tiago Splitter is a pure center with 94.8% of his shots coming in the paint. Kawhi Leonard is a SF whose shots are divided 43.6% in the paint, 22.1% from midrange, and 34.2% from three. Leonard takes more than twice as many shots in the paint (as a percentage of total shots) than Nowitzki does. If someone can find a shot chart that looks similar to Nowitzki's I'd like to see it, I've been looking for one and I can't find it so far.
