They could easily go 9-1 down the stretch.
Although 8-2 or 7-3 is more likely, depending on how much they rest players or injury. After these next 3 games against playoff teams/contenders, they have teams that are positioning themselves for the lottery.

The thing that might hurt the Grizzlies the most is the sheer amount of back to back games. 8 of 10 are back to backs.

The reason why Gasol has that reaction is because he has to deal with the biased officiating and refs that protect LA teams.

Missed Tony Allen tonight on Manu.

Spurs made the baskets and got the rebounds tonight when it mattered most.

And made stops when needed.
Grizz didn't stop pick n roll.

But they should be able to win out their last 8, but have a big game Saturday against the Jazz who they don't match up well against.

Since March 30th (17 days):
12 games
5 nights off
2 games against teams not contending for playoffs (1-1)
3 games against teams contending, but currently not playoff team (Bucks, Jazz, Suns) 3-0
7 games against playoff teams (4-3)
1 game that didn't either have a game the night before nor night after.


They are running out of gas for a reason.
I think a lot of playoff teams are having a bad loss or game down the stretch.

I'm actually in charlotte tonight, but not able to watch much of game.

Down after the first and 3rd quarter, and had to have a strong 4th quarter to pull out the win.

Sleepwalked much of the game and were cold offensively.

If the Bobcat game was like the Portland game, I can see why they barely won.

Bench players are getting some significant run before the playoffs. Starters are playing much less.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of starters get some playoff time minutes in the Cavs game before they shut it down for the last game against the Magic.

Last game of the regular season Thursday. I am a little worried about this team going into the playoffs. If Randolph is not playing at 100% the Grizzlies may be one and done.

Also, CP3 strained groin in Hawks game.
They need the win, so he will play tonight.


However, word is that the Knicks will sit Tyson Chandler and they would rather sink to the 8 seed and play the Bulls than stay at 7 and face the Heat. However, as mentioned earlier, if the Bobcats can beat the Magic, than the Knicks can get to 6.

Knicks up by 18 over halfway through the 4th quarter have let the Clips back into it and now only lead by 3 with under a minute left. Carmelo has sat almost the entire 2nd half.

After two consecutive trips to the playoffs and a return to respectability in the Western Conference, Michael Heisley has found a buyer to purchase the Memphis Grizzlies, according to sources with knowledge of the owner's plans.

Sources told ESPN.com that Heisley has an agreement in principle to sell the team to communications technology magnate Robert Pera, who at 34 has a spot on Forbes' list of the 10 youngest billionaries in the world.
