Holy ****! What an ending to tonight's crazy game.

Just so my fellow Bulls brethren know, I gave up Texags for lent and thus have been unable to chime in over the past month or so. Thanks for holding down the fort in my absence Dr. Cub.

Since Sundays in lent are not a day of sacrifice, I figured I would come on real quick and chime in.

1. John Lucas III
2. Lu's tip in last night. Holy crap. We had no business winning that game whatsover. Completely outplayed.
3. Simplebays strength of schedule arguments... lol who cares. The goal in the regular season is to have the best record. There's no style points. No BCS style ranking system. Luckily the NBA has a playoff system. The "best team" arguments will sort themselves out later.
4. How we have a three game lead over Miami for HCA in the east is beyond me.
5. I love how this team does not forget. It's a very MJ/Tiger-like quality. Indiana and Orlando celebrated on our floor. They both got stomped in the next meeting. Philly beat us bad in Philly. We went into Philly and stomped them in the next meeting.
6. I think the Bulls have the best "team" in the NBA. Best depth. Most cohesion. Most day-in, day-out effort. That should equate to having the best regular season record. The problem is that playoffs are all about matchups and I still think Miami has an edge on us in a seven game series. Hope I'm wrong.

I believe you're right Cubs. What is wrong with Miami that keeps them from winning more games? That is team that should challenge the Bulls 72 win season but seems to be missing something.

I agree with Deluxe on this Bulls team. They are the best team in the league. Having said that, I just don't see them beating the Heat in a 7-game series. The playoffs are much less about depth and more about your top 7 players. The Heat seem to have too much at the top for the Bulls. They are also probably the only team that can get away with doubling DRose when he crosses half court which throws the Bulls offense off completely. Maybe JLIII can hit some more shots over Lebron come playoff time

Doesn't matter. Kobe's 81 would be more impressive than the Bulls going undefeated to win 73 games in a 66 game season.

I was afraid that might not sound right. I was more referring to the fact that they already have 12 losses and haven't completed the 66-game season but I guess I had that coming.

Bad loss to the Nuggets last night, but Miami took another double digit loss for the second straight game so we still have a 3 1/2 game lead. They have 3 more games left on their schedule than we do, though.

Miami are 2-6 in their last 8 road games.

The title of this article is strange considering the injury is significant and the Bulls have no chance of winning a title without Rose. Guess you can't expect too much from Bleacher Report though.

I'm starting to get concerned about Rose's groin injury. It sounds like it was pretty bad and I'm worried about how that will affect him once he does get back out there. He takes a lot of abuse when he plays and doesn't seem to know how to dial it back. They need to make sure he is fully healed before throwing him back out there.
