Fuller is not hurt. It continues to feel like we play freshmen just to use our youth as an excuse when we lose. Both those goals were stoppable and so was the one that lost the Texas state game. This was a terrible loss in a game that we really needed to at least tie.

Has to be one of the worst keeper performances in Texas A&M soccer history.

Goalie has been a significant and consistent weakness. The silence regarding not substituting for an experienced, competent veteran is progressing from curious to suspicious.

This game was a giveaway.

It is painfully obvious to most. I think everyone expected fuller to get a look after the Texas state game. Now we are into sec play and still nothing. Coach has to put the players in position to win and then let them execute.

Based on the sub in the SFA match, I think Fuller is our number three goalie.

I was surprised when she wasn't starting. I was surprised when she didn't come in as the backup.

I think at this point Bobby is just being stubborn. It's painfully obvious to everyone that August isn't ready to play GK at this level. As others have said, it may be the single worst performance I've seen by an Aggie GK in following this program for over 20 years. 2 pretty easy balls hit right to her in the air and she couldn't pick up the flight or spin of the ball in the air. That is the whole point of playing GK, to be able to read shots in the air. Fuller is no doubt a better GK at this point in her development. How do we know this? Because we watched her last season and she didn't have issues like this with routine shots on goal.

I've given Bobby a lot of slack so far this season because it's his first year with a limited roster that is very unathletic and slow (maybe the slowest team I've ever seen at A&M). But a coach has to be adaptable and admit when something is not working. August in goal is not working. It's time to make a change. Otherwise, he's looking at a disastrous first season and digging an even bigger hole to climb out of in the offseason. He needs to get it together and fast.

With so much negativity being shared, many are missing the main problems. Playing simple and faster on the ground is key. This team is young and inexperienced. Coaches are obviously trying to figure it out with all the positional movement. At some point, you have to just play the players that play simple. IMO, this team is over complicating the game. Chemistry will come with time. At times, u see moments of brilliance, and others very low IQ moments. Even those who get much praise! Until they learn to move the ball with purpose, catching L's will be their fate. You can't play kick ball and stay competitive in the SEC or at any College level if you can't connect simple passes. Defensively as a team, we have struggled due to lack of shape discipline and marking players. Our backline and goalie play just has to be better. Can't count how many times our CB's played back or booted it forward when they could've played our Outside backs who IMO have been a bright spot. Keeping possession is key. Our CB's are athletic, but lack experience. They're always looking for the kill shot from the back. Hoang and Hughes are solid at moving the ball forward with simple pass connections and movement off the ball when giving the opportunity. Hughes was solid in the first half, wonder why she didn't return?
As a team, only a few have a broad understanding of movement off the ball. As a hole, the team still feels disconnected from the backline-mids-forwards. Forwards have to work to hard to get on the ball in most scenarios. They almost feel like false nines. Outside Mids really didn't have an impact in this game for some reason. They seemed to high up the pitch at times causing the forwards to have to drop alot to get on the ball. We need more thru balls sent to our forward when they're making runs. Forwards are always receiving the ball in front of the defenders which is to easy to defend. Our outside mids also need to play more box to box. Focus needs to be on connecting backline to forwards. Overall booting the caused chaotic play. The second goal was literally a combo of 4 passes. Sexton-Smith-Buchanan-Churchill. We need more of that and less hero ball. Multiple players have contributed to goals when the opportunities have presented themselves. This team will have its bump and bruises. But I wouldn't count them out just yet! I don't believe this team is slow and unathletic. The style of play is what's hurting them.

The main issue with this team they aren't building up the ball from the back. When the goalkeeper passes the ball to the defenders, they either give the ball back to the goalkeeper or kick it all the way forward, hoping the forwards will win it; they need to work on passing the ball to the midfield. The midfield is almost nonexistent, and it's not their fault because they aren't getting the ball as much. All of these issues are coachable; they just need to be addressed. Also, it's obvious that Bobby is trying to run out players and hit the portal by not playing them. He isn't even giving them a chance, even when his starters are doing badly. It's such a Shame. You can't keep doing the same things and expect different results.
