That pass to Buchanan was probably the best created and earned chance of the match by either squad.

Passing and touches not as good as we've had at times this season. Eliminate the defensive miscues and possess the ball better and we can still make a game of this.

An open audition more someone to impress here after a really disappointing fight from some of the starters.

Might have a chance to score if every shot was not right at the goalkeepers midsection.

As someone who sat in the visiting section of Ellis Field for the first time ever, I will say Bobby has them playing better soccer. You can see what they are trying to do but with the youth and lack of experience in the program at key positions it will take a while. He was hired too late in the process to get any transfers but I would expect him to be very active in the portal at the end of the year.

the quality was run off 2 years ago by G- last years team was not talented

I'm not sure what Sexton and Hoang were doing on that first goal. TCU player was fast and beating Hoang consistently before that play (same TCU player beat Hoang and hit it off the crossbar a few minutes before the goal), but they just escorted her through between the two of them without trying to stop her.

The second goal was an awful play by Landry, not the defense. A give away at the top of our box on a pass that I still don't have any idea what she was trying to do. She had more than one give away like that and I was shocked Bobby left her in the game and even gave her more minutes in the 2nd half. She shows flashes of tremendous skill, but doesn't run and makes some very curious decisions.

Last goal was Sexton and Harris not marking tightly on a ball played back in immediately after set piece. Forgivable, but a team like TCU is going to finish those chances.

We are in this position solely due to the inept coaching and recruiting by Coach G. over the past few years. It will take 2-3 years to get things back in the right direction by Coach Bobby.

We need to find more offensive power and be cleaner defensively. We're creating a lot of chances for our forwards, but we have to start turning those opportunities into goals. At the same time, we're giving up some chances that we can't afford to give up, so we need to keep the mistakes to a minimum. We don't want to spend 90 minutes defending every game. I thought we did a good job killing TCU in transition and creating opportunities, we just didn't have anything to show for it. Now it's about being more clinical in front of goal and more disciplined defensively. Everyyyy single shot was at the keeper.
Still a lot of games left this season. Ready to turn it around. I think Bobby is a great coach, just gonna take some time.
