Ireland had a hell of a game. Future looks bright and when they catch their stride this group can cause some teams big problems.
After what I thought was a stellar performance by Ireland I have deemed her at my house as Captain Chaos! Because when she drives at the goal she creates and is a dangerous player.
Looking forward to watching the team grow into themselves this year.

Scoreboard used to give stats (shots, corners, etc.). Anyone know why it has been dumbed down? Of course we have added a corner kick flag image.

They've removed the old stat board in the SW corner. Also the screen in the NE corner is gone. It's be nice to have a ribbon board with stats. Or put them on main tv screen on the sides

The stats were supposed to be on the main screen behind the South goal tonight as the replacement. I'm not sure why they weren't. Probably some game one technical issue.
Carapazza started and seemed to be playing the holding midfield position just in front of the back line. 21 players played at least 17 minutes and everyone seemed to get a lot of touches since we had most of the possession. Seemed like we executed corner kicks differently with only a few players in the 6 yard box and other players moving toward the goal when the ball was kicked.
would like to see more of #23 Ciara Mitchell - she looks to be more promising on the ball than some of the players she is behind -

The Aggies finally get their home opener in a rare Saturday night match. This is the perfect get-right game against a vulnerable Sam Houston State side in front of the friendly crowd of Ellis Field.
Sam Houston sits at 0-0-2 on the season with a 1-1 tie at Oklahoma State and a 0-0 tie at Lamar. Sam Houston isn't a total pushover, but neither of those opponents are at the caliber of A&M. I'd expect the Aggies to dominate possession and have room to score some goals.
It's kind of a late game, so if you're tuning in on TV, we're back to streaming on SEC+ for the rest of the season. Side Note: Did y'all know we don't play Texas this year?

There is a video on Aggie Soccer X of the team sawing horns off. The new player from Finland looked a little confused but seemed to enjoy it. Buchanan is 2nd in the conference in total goals scored with 5. An OU player has 7.
