Agreed. My point is they have to work much harder to advance so for the EFL cup final they are in worse shape. for the league this is not good though.

It makes sense to want them to come back and have two more games, but I kind of like the idea of them getting crushed by Real Madrid, and there being renewed focus on Pep's future with City. Also it does not seem like they necessarily have the leadership and locker room to handle that very well.

We need to win in regulation. No ET. I have faith that we can do that.

It might be time to try Noni on the left or Marti needs to be more aggressive and try to get the ball in behind the double team before the set up.

I'd definitely start Noni. Saka just doesn't have the form to be starting every match based on name alone. I'd also rotate the fullbacks. I think Calafiori and White are better for our attack than Timber and Hincapie.

Will be interesting to see what happens. There needs to be some rotation with these next 3 matches, but Everton are incredibly good away from home. I personally have a bad feeling for this weekend, especially with our offensive output.

Can't have that negative juju around, gotta block that out! Lol.

Time for the squad to show they can galvanize for the run-ins across the board! We've been knocking on the door for years now. Gotta get that monkey off of our backs and play free and loose. Arteta needs to trust the squad depth and learn from not rotating and running his preferred 11 in the ground.

I know we are dinged up, but man we have so much talent. Let's go get the W tomorrow and hopefully see West Ham really piss in City's Cheerios!

I think since Arsenal wasted time taking the one corner the ref probably had enough reason to let Dowman's run go, but can you imagine if he'd blown the whistle when Max was at the halfway line?

As long as Dowman & Nwaneri continue to develop, in 2-3 years we could have an interesting RW/RCM/RAM rotation of Saka (27), Nwaneri (21) & Dowman (19) with a 30+ yo MO or Eze for depth.
