Hopefully they are seeing the same post and using it as fuel. Media can't stop talking about Arsenal's tendency to squander the lead at the top of the table. Much like our A&M football team, just need to believe they can win and change the narrative.

Gonna have to rotate Timber somehow to give him some rest. Insanely busy part of the schedule and he CANNOT play every single match. We may need to actually find a RB on loan to get him some coverage at this point.
Could use MLS on the right given that we have Cala & Hincapie on the left. Assuming of course we have 2 healthy CBs not named Cala & Hincapie.

Ben White should not have started this match and Mikel Arteta's explanation for why Ben White started did not make much sense.
We drew Chelsea in the League Cup semi-finals if we beat Palace next week. A stupid 2-legs added to the schedule if that happens which is another load on the squad. January is looking rough with the amount of matches already.

Honestly, I just don't care. If the roles are reversed in that situation and they gave us the penalty kick, I'd say that's a bad call.
We played well enough to win but it wasn't great. Hopefully the club steps back from the League's Cup and plays the back ups/young kids. That way our guys get a break.
We picked up two points from last year's fixture. Last year at this time, we were at 33 points and Liverpool was at 40 points. We don't look great on the field but so far it's been enough.

Kai returned to squad training yesterday. I imagine they are probably looking at possibly the Villa game to be involved again.
As for today, I think he rotates a lot, but the defense doesn't have a lot of bodies. And I just don't see him trotting out the u21s for it. Maybe 16 y/o Salmon gets his first start.

I don't want to play Calafiori more than once per week so left side of defense is set. Maybe you play Salmon at RB instead of Timber (who definitely needs rest time). You could play Norgaard at CB instead of Saliba, but that means you probably have to play Zubimendi or Rice who both need rest. Maybe you could play Merino as a 6, and play Nwaneri (who needs a start) with Eze. Could also play Eze on the left.
I think this is what we will see.

Agree with your general assessment except Nwaneri needs to start. If he can't start in a meaningless game he needs to be loaned in Jan.

That would allow the 3 to build chemistry, would (in theory) get them all starting minutes to prepare for a bigger future role and hopefully develop more than they (MLS & Nwaneri) are now. Given the age of our starting (and primary backups) MF now, I could see Bouaddi, MLS & Nwaneri being a strong future MF.

I 100% agree that Ethan needs to start (and he has in the other LC matches), but Eze also needs to play. Kinda feels like he's been in Mikel's ****house since the Villa match

Probably. Being behind Odegaard and Eze simply isn't going to work for a young player, especially since Mikel doesn't really play 2 attacking mids at a time.
People are mad about it, but Eze also needs to play and is going to be more crucial to any silverware we might have a shot at. Ethan is still only 18, but does need to be playing regularly. Loan him. Especially with Kai coming back and probably taking his bench slot

There were several arguments during the summer that we should have passed on Eze because he would block Nwaneri. That is showing itself now. Maybe it was the right move. Either way I think we need to loan Nwaneri so we don't crater his growth and sell him on everyone in front of him being near peak and needing replacement in the next 2-3 yrs. Ideally I would like to see him in France (tends to translate well to England) or a Championship team fighting for promotion.

I agree. Get him somewhere he can play every week against good competition. Of course this is Arsenal, so we better make sure there is a recall clause in there because the moment he signs we will end up losing Odegaard and Eze for months.
I do think getting Eze was a good decision. He's obviously not hitting his Palace heights yet, but we know its there. I felt Ethan was found out a little bit in the spring and teams figured out how to neutralize him. He definitely needs to take the step to the next level, but to that requires match time and he's not getting it currently. Loan is the smart move.
