Yeah, I think so too. His contract will expire at the end of this season and is 36 years old. I think he still has sufficient quality to play in the EPL and certainly the Championship, if he is not ready to retire. From all accounts he is a solid dude.

We are so beat up. I mean the squad that Ange has to choose from is SOOOO limited for what we really want to do. Just have to endure this pray ENIC will pay for a deep, talented club.

I don't understand how changing the manager at this point would be beneficial. If he isn't getting it done with a full squad, then sure. But with the quantity of injuries we have, I do not believe any other manager gets any better results. Ange has shown his style of play can yield results if we have the players to implement it. That's up to the board to get him the players he needs. So far this window we've brought in one player, a GK. Great, but it is not enough.

I don't want him gone but these teams pull the trigger fast over there. That said I also hate that it seems like these talking heads seem to think Tottenham can't expect too much.

They really do. Is the problem squad numbers? If we bring somebody in, does someone have to go? We've tried selling Reguilon without much luck and since his contract expires this summer I don't think any team is going to give us a fee for him. Who else would we be looking to move? Maybe Bissouma? His contract expires in 2026.
