Weekend was a busy one, and as was mentioned earlier, we have midweek games this week, so no rest for the weary as the final stretch is upon us.
Weekend Results
Nottingham Forest 1-1 Palace. Nottingham Forest moved out of the relegation zone after coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace. Jean-Philippe Mateta gave Palace an 11th minute lead, but Chris Wood leveled the match in the second half with a wonderful header to secure the point. Forest move above Luton Town, on goal difference while Palace are eight points ahead of the bottom three.
Sheffield Utd. 3-3 Fulham. Sheffield United threw away a chance for a rare victory as they let slip a two-goal lead as Fulham fought back to claim a late point in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Bramall Lane. A brilliant scissor-kick from Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz sealed the comeback after Ben Brereton Diaz had scored twice for Sheffield Utd. Fulham remain 12th with 39 points, while Sheffield Utd are still bottom with 15 points.
Burnley 2-2 Chelsea. Burnley showed their fighting spirit by twice coming from behind despite playing most of the match with 10 men to draw 2-2 against Chelsea in a thrilling match at Stamford Bridge. Dara O'Shea's late header claimed a point for Burnley after Lorenz Assignon had been sent off in the first half. Both clubs had chances to win late on. The point means Chelsea remain 11th on 40 points, while Burnley have 18 points in 19th, effectively five points from safety because of their poor goal difference.
Luton 1-2 Spurs. Tottenham Hotspur kept pace in pursuit of a top-four place after coming from behind to win for the fourth time in five home matches, beating Luton Town 2-1, with Son Heung-min sealing the victory in the 86th minute. The Hatters took an early lead through Tahith Chong but could not prevent two second-half goals from Spurs, as Issa Kabore put the ball into his own net to level the score before Son's winner. Luton drop into the relegation zone, below 17th-placed Nottingham Forest on goal difference after Forest's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Everton 1-2 Bournemouth. Oh Everton, never change. A stoppage-time own goal from Seamus Coleman gave Bournemouth a crushing 2-1 win over Everton at Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth scored first in the 64th minute through Dominic Solanke. But Everton substitute Beto profited from an error at the back to draw the teams level. However, in the first minute of stoppage time, a cross from the right was somehow deflected into his own net by Everton captain Coleman, who was not under pressure, to clinch the win for Bournemouth and extend the Toffees' winless run to 12 matches.Bournemouth have 38 points in 13th spot. A joint club-record run of 12 Premier League matches without a win, leaves Everton on 25 points, three clear of the relegation zone.
Brentford 1-1 Manchester United. Brentford rallied after a stoppage-time goal by Mason Mount to claim a point in a 1-1 draw with Manchester United which helped their fight against relegation. The Bees had outshot United by 30 shots to 11 and hit the woodwork four times, only to fall behind in the sixth minute of time added on to Mount's first goal for the club. But United's lead lasted little over three minutes as Kristoffer Ajer struck from close range to earn a draw that takes the Bees five points clear of the relegation zone.

Midweek Matches
We do have some key midweek games that will impact the relegation battle as all twenty EPL clubs play a midweek match this week.
Tuesday
Newcastle v. Everton (1:30 pm, St. James Park, USA Network). Everton will be looking to end a 12 game winless drought when they travel to the Northeast to take on a Newcastle club who will be coming off a thrilling 4-3 come from behind victory over West Ham on Saturday. Newcastle are 2-2-1 in their last 5, while Everton are 0-3-2 in the same time period. Everton beat up on Newcastle 3-0 when the clubs met in December at Goodison Park, but those were better times for the Toffees, and they need any point they can get on Tuesday.
Nottingham Forest v. Fulham (1:30pm, City Grounds, Peacock). Forest will welcome Fulham to Nottingham on Tuesday, as they will look to improve off their weekend come back draw with Palace. Forest have claimed just 2 points from their last 5 (0-3-2) while Fulham have claimed 10 points over the same stretch (3-1-1). Fulham absolutely destroyed Forest 5-0 when the clubs met at Craven Cottage in December, so Forest will be looking to greatly improve on that result and get further away from the bottom three.
Burnley v. Wolverhamton Wanderers (1:45pm, Turf Moor, Peacock). Burnley are desperate for points as they try and keep sight of Forest and Luton whom they must pass to claim a spot in the EPL for next season. The Clarets have claimed 2 draws and a win in their last three, but Wolves have also been impressive as of late, going 3-2-0 for 9 points in their last 5. Wolves eeked out a 1-0 win when the two clubs met in the return fixture in December, so we should have a good match on our hands here.
Wednesday
Arsenal v. Luton (1:30pm, Emirates Stadium, USA Network). The Hatters will make the short trip down to North London for a match with the high flying Gunners. Arsenal will be looking to keep pace with City and Liverpool for the top spot, so they will want to discard the Luton squad as quickly as possible. The match in December between the two clubs was a classic, with Arsenal claiming a 4-3 victory at Kenilworth Road on a goal from Declan Rice in the 7th minute of stoppage time. Arsenal come into this match winning 4 of their last 5, with their only blemish being a 0-0 draw with City over the weekend. Luton meanwhile are 0-3-2 in their last 5 for 2 points, including their 2-1 defeat to Tottenham over the weekend.
Brentford v. Brighton Hove & Albion (1:30 pm, Community Stadium, Peacock). The Bees will look to build off their strong display against United which saw the Bees claim a point in a 1-1 draw. Brentford need more performances like that if they are to stay out ofg the relegation battle, as the Bees have just mustered 2 points in their last 5 (0-3-2) while Brighton are 2-2-1 in their last 5 for 7 points. Brighton claimed all 3 points when the clubs met in December on the South Coast, winning 2-1.
Thursday
Liverpool v. Sheffield United (1:30pm, Anfield, Peacock). The league leaders will welcome the league bottom dwellers on Thursday in a match that should be pretty one-sided. The Reds come in with a 4-0-1 record in their last 5 for 13 points while Sheffield Utd come in on a 0-3-2 run ver their last 5, although the two draws were in their last 2 matches. Look for the Reds to come out flying while the Blades will be looking to hold on for draw and a point.
Enjoy the Week.
