Texas Aggie Soccer closes out their home schedule on Thursday at 7PM. They face #17 South Carolina on Senior Night. The game will air live on SEC+ through the ESPN app and the play-by-play will stream on RadioAggieland 97.3FM or through the 12thMan App.

The Aggies still hold the all-time series against SC with a 6-4-2 record, but A&M is 1-4-1 in the last six against South Carolina, including last year's 1-1 tie in Columbia.

South Carolina remains an SEC powerhouse in the sport, but they have played to an incredible number of ties this season. They are 9-1-5 on the year with a 3-0-4 mark in conference play.

Notable nonconference results include a 0-0 tie against #8 Clemson and a 1-2 loss to #3 UNC. In conference, wins have come over Vandy (3-1). Auburn (2-1), and LSU (1-0). They've tied Kentucky (0-0), Tennessee (1-1), Missouri (1-1), and Ole Miss (0-0).

In total, they have outscored opponents 29-8, but that falls to an 8-4 differential in conference play.

Scoring has been led by senior and All-SEC forward, Catherine Barry. Barry has a team high in goals (8), assists (4), shots (66), and shots on goal (31).

The trend seems to indicate that this game should amount to a tie. But once again, for A&M, that needs to be the worst case scenario.

Texas A&M An up-and-down last few weeks with only two wins from five will have to stop if Texas A&M wants an at-large bid. And with two of their three remaining regular season games away from home to Tennessee and LSU, the Aggies have their work cut out for them.

True, but who else brings consistent fire to the offense? Mia has been great lately, but was really off a few games. At least we know we can count on Hayes to bring maximum effort every game.

I second this. Hayes is without a doubt THE most hard working player on the team. She is a great leader and brings so much energy to the field. Disappointed she's not in the starting lineup tonight…especially on her senior night. Not sure what the coaches are trying to do….again.

We are going to need to start playing more forward and aggressively sooner rather than later. With a lead, South Carolina is happy to crowd their entire team back on defense.

We get a steal and there are already 6 players back on defense in front of you.

It is kind of who we are. Not an anomaly.

Boeckmann, Pante, and Hayes have great chemistry. MASSIVE energy shift in these last 15 minutes. G needs to let them play together more often.
