Primarily hosted in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco but to celebrate 100 years of World Cup, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay which each host one game. That means the 3 South American nations will fly across the Atlantic to play the remainder of their World Cup after they play their first group game. All 6 nations will automatically qualify.

I'm kind of curious what craziness FIFA will come up with for 2034.

2 nations that didn't host the 1930 World Cup get home games to celebrate the 1930 World Cup.

Paraguay doesn't even border Uruguay but they rhyme so **** it, huh?

The world cup was a fantastic product....they don't need to do all of this gimmicky crap.

Like most entities in the world, Fifa is suffering from extreme corporatization. In search of more money, they make stupid decisions flown under the banner of "innovation". Slowly the product gets diluted until the consumers are simply turned off by the brand. Meanwhile, the execs that green light this short sighted crap skip off with bag.

Hopefully we'll get World cup Classic in 2 or 3 cycles.

Having a 1 month deadline to apply to host 2034 (a tourney 11 years from now) and only allowing Asia and Oceania to apply knowing only Saudi Arabia can make a plan up in the short amount of time. Another winter World Cup for the sports washers

Hope every member of FIFA gets indicted the moment they step foot on US soil in 2026. ****ing criminals.
