Now that was a sweet strike.

Every game Gregg has put in the extra attacker, instead of MMA, we look a lot more dynamic in the attack. Especially when we have Gio in the role we had Tillman in.
Its a tough call for sure, and would likely depend on the team we are playing and availability of players.Pahdz said:PatAg said:

I don't disagree, but those 3 players to me are some of our top guys. So that leads to the question, who sits or who moves position?
oh yeah I enjoyed not watching a bunch of concacafing going on. But those guys better than st kitts or Grenada or Martinique? Sure. Better than the typical hex? I don't think so. I watched Oman players' technical skill and tactical awareness- it was really bad. Aaronson's fk goal shouldn't happen. The Oman own goal shouldn't happen. And those guys kept giving the ball away carelessly over and over again. Looking forward to the friendlies in the next window. Those ones will be a lot more interesting. We're actually ranked higher than Germany right now.Rudyjax said:PatAg said:Better than concacaf I think, outside of a select fewoh no said:

but next month we (11) get Ghana (60) and Germany (15) vs this window we got UZB (74) and Oman (73). Excited for those.
for reference, last year's concacaf octagonal teams' current fifa rankings: Mex (12), Canada (43), Panama (45), Costa Rica (46), Jamaica (58), El Salvador (75), Honduras (79)
-not that FIFA rankings are end-all, be-all, I just thought Oman looked horrible last night and to my eye, they are a worse squad technically and tactically and maybe athletically than el salvador or honduras.
USSF tried to get CONMEBOL teams, Argentina and Brazil for this fall but never materialized. It could be that CONMEBOL decided to start WC qualifications which trumps any friendlies.oh no said:

US in talks with Argentina and Brazil for fall friendliesQuote:
The United States has held talks with World Cup winner Argentina and its fellow South American soccer heavyweight Brazil over hosting two friendly matches in the fall.
According to The Athletic, the games could be held in September, October or November but discussions at present are in the early stages.
women's, unisex or not...that hoodie is barfjeffk said:
US Soccer apparel (and other federations) is weird on the retail side. Some of the team issue gear gets classified as men/women on the retail side and some doesn't. This hoodie is a good example. On the official team store, it's only available in women's sizing, but they also feature a dude wearing one on the main page.
even next year or 2025? I thought we'd be getting a lot of european visitors leading up to 2026.akm91 said:
Germany is available only because they don't have to participate in the Euro qualifiers as they're hosting.
With the European Nations League and Euro's it will be almost impossible to schedule friendlies with the top Euro teams.
that was great and Uzb guys walked to the sideline and got pelted by beers. Stay classy Mexico!!!RealTalk said:

why do they have the "Nations League" in Europe? They already have Euros... makes no sense to me and just adds more disruptions to club action (which is better)
