The coaches must have felt pretty comfortable with the substitutes after the second goal as I think only 1 was replaced and that was Williams by Wilkinson. It was the first game ever for Ivey and Jernigan and Fetzer played her first game of the season.

I liked our personnel changes and formation to start the game. They were not overly effective though. We have no ability to put passes together in the offensive half of the field. Most of our offense is from individual efforts to beat a defender 1 on 1. Certainly a time for that, but our inability to connect on passes really shows when we get inside the box. We need to take less touches in the box and shoot more. Every girl needs to be thinking shoot on first touch, we wasted many opportunities with no shots. Tulsa was packing it into the box so we needed to play quicker.
Macy Matual was not dressed for the game but Geczik played the full game at outside back which was good to see as she works back from injury.
Margo Matual also played the full 90 at center back.
Ivey, Fetzer, and Jernigan got their first regular season action this year.
