Nice shot from Odegaard from outside the box!

Things finally heating up a bit. Odegaard almost gets one by Neuer with an awkwardly deflected strike

Finally a real chance from Martinelli. Oof.

That was definitely a good chance, has to put that further away from Neuer

We have certainly had the better of it the past 10-15 minutes now.

Thierry said neither team wants to lose rather than wants to win and that feels about right so far…

Yikes! Bayern hits the post twice!

Down 1 nil! Nothing to lose now! Come on Arsenal!

We shouldn't be depending on Martinelli to pick up Kimmich on a run right into the middle of the box.

We don't seem likely to score and tie this up. Oh well.

Unless city drop points in the league, looks to be another season without silverware. Guess being an Aggie is supposed to have prepared me for sports times like these.

Oh, and Arsenal still need an out-and-out striker.

Need.....
- a legit ST that can finish
- starting caliber 6/8
- a W that can provide legit competition to Marti as well as giving us 3 quality wide options so we can give Saka a rest

This game has been soul sucking.

But I kind of expected it.

Arsenal and the Dallas Cowboys are the same team. Super talented, wins a ton of games during regular season, complete collapse under pressure when games matter

At least we are helping prevent the EPL from getting a 5th Champions League place which currently would go to Spuds

Dang it, pi$$ on this result.

Let's hope city stumble in the PL.

Feels like the past 2 seasons have been a complete waste. April collapse again.

Starting to feel like we've reached a ceiling and this is the best it's gonna get

Never liked our odds once we didn't win at home. Disappointing to create so little on the night though.

Not a bad first season back in the CL. Let's see if they can take the league to the final day.

Now we can concentrate on not winning the premier league.

Only thing Arsenal could do is win the rest of their matches, and hope city drops enough points for the Gunners to win. The PL is entirely in the hands of others, which stinks, but as I said Sunday, dropping 11 of 12 points against Fulham and Villa is no way to win the league.

I do hope city beat RM today so they have to continue focusing on the CL, which may cause enough of a stumble in the PL. They are a machine, but all machines fail at some point.

I'd be shocked if we beat Wolves. This team is crumbling.

I don't know if we're "crumbling."

Had a bad match against Villa in a congested week and lost a tight game we probably weren't really expected to win.

Hopefully they take a day off and can re-group. We looked very poor against Porto and then came out like gangbusters again a few days later.

I'm trying to be somewhat positive.

Arsenal can win the rest, but will they? We have to wait and see.

Will Arteta and staff be able to squeeze the wins out of this club? Do they know how to squeeze the wins out of this club?
Can the players shake off the last two matches and reassert themselves? Are they good enough as a unit? Are they mature enough as a unit?

Let's hope the run in by Arsenal is at least interesting and not like air let out of a balloon.

We only need 1 draw from City to jump them, the harder part is probably winning out as the attack seems to have hit a funk at the wrong time

We just need to go out and play to win. We're really no good at playing not to lose and that seems to be how Arteta approaches cup games.

Crumbling? We lost our first game of 2024 on Sunday and got beat 1-0 in the UCL Quarterfinals.

To be fair, I thought the first half vs. Villa was one of our best, except we couldn't finish.

Either way, I have a feeling this team is gonna struggle over the next 6. They're just out of gas and the inevitability of City winning out is overbearing. Arteta has to learn to start rotating these guys somewhat.

Agree completely.

They gave Arsenal 4 months of unbelievable entertainment. Hell of a run. Dropping earlier points cost us.

On the positive side of things, we absolutely look like we belong on the pitch with Bayern and everyone else in that tier.

Buckle up, should be a fun run.

We're talking about two games. Why not the last three or four or five? It might be the start of us crumbling but give it time before overreacting.

Had to travel today so just got a chance to watch. What an abomination of a game. Gunners should've had it. Martinelli overthinking chances in and around the box was frustrating af to watch. Feels like they could've had an easy goal or 2 before the beauty from kimmich. Damn that sucks to be out of the tourney
