I think there are still some gameplan and team mentality issues, some of which may be due to youth/inexperience and some of which comes down to coaching.. Not saying at this point that Arteta isn't the man for the job, but the results are speaking for themselves, and execution on the pitch when the chips are down lies at the feet of the players and the coaching staff.

Hopefully can put Bayern to bed Tuesday.

This squad still needs a legit striker and someone in the middle to replace Jorghino and Partey, both of whom I like but just can't cut it for the grind of a season.

I'm really trying to understand Zinchenko. What does he bring to the table? Is it supposed to be offensive play? His defending is a roll of the dice. I know he's had better games but his performance in this one was terrible.

Playing flat seems to be directly correlated to straight up running out of gas, in April, again. Any time we've tried to rotate and it typically doesn't work.

Its actually kinda hilarious how this happens every season. Congrats to Man City again

I have a hard time saying the results speak for themselves like that's a bad thing with us in the UCL Quarterfinals and in 2nd place in the EPL.

And we're building depth like other teams but we are t there yet. Good teams sometimes lose to teams they shouldn't.

The left back situation is bizarre. Kiwior was on a really good run, obviously he had a tough time against Bayern on Tuesday.

Zinchenko played 90 minutes today, and I think the decision to take out White instead of Zinchenko was really bad. I see all Zinchenko's liabilities and haven't really seen him add anything going forward in a while.

Maybe this is all due to Timber's injury in the first game, but I'm still not convinced Arsenal's best left back isn't on loan at Real Sociedad.

White has been playing on a bad knee for much of the year.

I'm a big KT fan but he couldn't do what Arteta wants him to do offensively. He's a fan favorite because he was basically our best player on some really ****ty teams but as Clive says, not all players get to make this trip with us. Please don't confuse this with a defense of Zinchenko. He's a big liability defensively.

Would like to see us snag a young LB this summer or shift Kiwior to LB and snag a young CB. OZ has some positives but I dont think he should play LB at all next season. Sell him or shift him into MF.

Arteta has stated in the last month or so that he plans to keep OZ but I agree that it is interesting that we are hearing nothing about extensions for him and Orny (plus others) keep mentioning that we are in the market for a LB. To me that screams Kiwior back to CB and OZ either moved on or shifted to CM.

Based on numerous articles and Tierney quotes just don't see this happening. He has no interest in coming back to Arsenal to play for Arteta. Also, I don't think Arteta has much interest in bringing him back into the squad.

I like KT. He still has potential to play LB at a high level if he can get passed the injuries. Unfortunately he just doesn't fit Mikel's vision for his FBs. Time for both parties to move on.

There is a ton of speculation that Ajax is looking to hire Stuivenberg (Mikel's current #2) as their manager this summer (they tried to get him to join mid season) so we could have a spot available. will be interesting to see if Heinze would be the new #2 or if he would join the staff and a new #2 would be promoted from within. FYI.... Heinze & Arteta were teammates at PSG.

Sunday doesn't matter now, we have a chance to make the semis of the Champs League. Didn't realize Bayern was going to be down Gnabry, Coman and Davies today so we have a decent shot at this!
