Nice result today against Preston North End, 2-1. Just past the halfway mark and they sit just 4 points back of the final playoff spot

Broke the streak of lack of away wins today (and broke my streak of bad results while watching them)… 10th place and 3 pts away from playoffs.

Gonna be interesting to see if they splurge on signings this window.

Their positioning in the table is even on the unlucky side.

No one other than Southampton has a better net GD (+4) with a worse point total (33) in the championship. Wrexham is at +5 and 37 points which clocks in at 10th. Millwall is -5 in GD, sports 40 points, and is one spot out of the playoffs at 7th. That's a team that knows it's better to be lucky than good.

Winning streak continues and they're up to 9th now.

I'll call it 2.5 points from playoffs since Hull-Watford got postponed and there's no outcome of that game that lets Wrexham maintain the current 1 pt margin to 6th place.

Up 2-0 on NF at the half in the FA Cup! Could easily be 3-0, but Sam Smith kinda botched a 1v1 vs the keeper.

Ollie Rathbone is fun to watch. I'm starting to think this run of good form is due to him being healthy again.

update - ugly second half results in extra time and a dramatic penalty win! This one will definitely make the show (Ryan was there).

Not Wrexham but any upset by a non league side makes me think of Wrexham. National League North, 6th tier!

Depending on the draw, they might make like a decade's worth of revenue in the next game.

Wrexham stealing points at QPR in the final minutes.

What a game today. Two late goals on the road. So glad Paramount has these games.

Great game!

Before the game they were discussing the potential new player and had to look it up and it turns out Wrexham are targeting a potential club-record 19 Million Pound ($26 million) signing of Angers striker Sidiki Cherif

Great result, you mean. Game itself was ugly to watch and I turned it off at 88'. You're Welcome.

Heck of a comeback and the highlights of those last goals are glorious.

Not sure if yall saw this, but Wrexham reported a cash infusion of nearly 48 million GBP from issuing a single share. I think this is basically the way the books will show the reinvestment in the club that came as part of the minority sale to Apollo (and if this is just the reinvestment portion, you can bet Rob/Ryan made mad money personally on the sale).

Weird. I didn't realize Wigan terminated his loan.

Not a terribly exciting game, but 1-0 over Sheffield Wednesday today. Currently sitting at 6fh in the table. Finished January unbeaten in 6 of 7, winning 5 of those. Next 4 matches are all against top 10 teams, Mlwall (5th), 2 against Ipswich (4th), and Bristol City (9th)

just a note: The first game against Ipswich is a FA cup game and will not count in league points.

I think it's just three incoming signings this window, but it's hard to find solid info and they waited till very late to finalize business on two of these.

Zak Vyner a 28 y/o CB from Bristol City, Davis Keillor-Dunn, a 28 y/o striker (winger?) from Barnsley, and Bailey Cadamarteri a 20 y/o striker from Wednesday. Might've spent less than 6M GBP total for all three.

They might've also snuck in a loaned wingback but I haven't seen anything official yet.

Heading into the deadline, Parky said he'd be happy getting 2 or 3 guys.

A ton of guys released or loaned out this window.

I'm happy to see there wasn't a massive splurge to push for promotion… these look like they're depth signings. I think they're happy to try and solidify a playoff spot and if they get lucky there and get promoted, great - but if not, they're settling into a squad that can maybe add a few over the summer and make a real push next year. I think it took a long time for the squad to gel after last summer's overhaul, so it's good to not have a ton of changes again IMO.

Wrexham are currently one point out of a playoff spot, but with a game in hand. But it's crazy tight. Sixth place to 16th is. separated by six points.

They're in a bit of a slump… I think losing James McLean created a leadership void. Hopefully they pull out of it soon.

I remember hearing a commentator a couple games ago say that they're the worst team in the league at giving up points after leading. So many draws that really should've been wins.

In truth though, they're right where I hoped they'd be this year. They really need some roster stability and better infrastructure before they make a hard push to EPL. If it happens this year, it'd obviously be fantastic, but I'm glad this past transfer window was mostly culling dead/aging weight and adding some affordable depth. I was afraid they'd take the new investment money and splurge.
