Your mom's not a big club in Europe.

Valencia is right now bigger AKA more successful than Everton.

They aren't a super club but the are in the next tier down.

I agree with ya.

My point was more so with Musah's ceiling and if he keeps developing like he is we will see him playing for one of the massive clubs in Europe.

All too frequently, comments wanting to see a player go to a "big club" are really just a desire to see the player play in the EPL or a perennial CL club like RM, Barca, Bayern, etc. EPL as a broad brush counts as "big" to the person because it's what they watch most so they all seem pretty big compared to clubs like Valencia, despite objective facts such as club coefficient or player valuation that would say Valencia is better than quite a few firmly entrenched EPL teams.

Yes I say all of the above as a triggered Bundesliga fan, and you clearly didn't intend it that way - you clearly meant "big club" - but I see this all the time.

Valencia is definitely not a big club in Europe.
it most definitely is....just because they are not in the EPL doesn't mean they are not big they have a huge following.

Ironic because I'm not referring to the EPL. But I'm done with this argument.

The 'big clubs' most people think of would probably be the ones that tried to form the super league

Yep. The super clubs.
That's probably a better term for it, since big has so many meanings.

Guess I should have used the term massive and none of this would have happened.

Speaking as an Everton supporter, this is not an achievement.

Also, "bigger" and "more successful" are two different terms to evaluate by.

But when people say "big" that's often what they mean. And traditionally Everyone was considered "big".

Right now United is still "big". They don't have the petro sovereign unlimited pockets of City, PSG, now Newcastle but it's probably the next most massive club financially. But is for damn sure they aren't successful. Chelsea will be interesting. They lost their sovereign petro dollars. I wonder if they will fall on lean times and revert back to Spurs level where spending is more curtailed.

I think the topic of "big club" has been successfully beaten into the ground.

Weah and Richards at Valencia would be great!

Put it this way if as pro soccer player you get signed by Valencia I think its safe to say you play at big club

Love Musah at Valencia. He gets plenty of game time in a league that emphasizes technique, passing and movement. I'd be happy if he stayed there for several years.

He is going to be the American Iniesta one day.

They gotta start playing him centrally though, he needs more reps there
