My favorite is when guys kick the ball and someone and try and play it off as a mistake, like they don't kick balls for a living and can accurately hit them

Makes me so frustrated that the ref had to go to vfr on the first penalty. It was right in the middle of the goal and right where the ball was placed. How the hell do you not see it live? Thank goodness for vfr….we wouldn't have got that call which opened up the game. Why aren't these refs held accountable by US soccer? Don't we have pull to get FIFA or CONCACAF to punish them?

I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'

As of now we could give up 2 and CR would still have to beat us by 5.

And oh by the way, Mexico is tied at half. If they lose 1-0, they would have to score 7 in their last game to catch us. And even if they tie, they may need a win against SLV to stay out of the 4th place spot.

IIRC we don't even manage to fill our country's allotment of refs for CONCACAF, so we really don't have a leg to stand on when we don't offer up better options.

Is it a specific certification they have to get to ref these games in addition to whatever is required to ref lect games? Just wondering if it's a scenario where they don't feel like dealing with the hassle of it or something
