The numbers scare me as I dont think this is an upgrade....Auriers crosses are terrible, but Doherty doesnt appear to be much better

I really only started following 5 years or so ago, understand there was some funk in the locker room at the end of the 2019 run, and get that there will probably be more changes ahead as Mourinho remakes the team in his image. Just seems like that's a decent amount of turnover in such a short period of time

Correct, it is free 7 day trial though

If Peacock really replaces all of NBC Sports, I'm happy with that. It's no longer $50+ extra for every single add on (cycling, soccer, etc etc). Plus there is some tv programming that will be ad free

Weird match to watch. My gut reaction is that I actually liked the way we played. Just once again couldn't get the space needed to create more opportunities

I liked seeing Doherty get forward, but thought he did look spent in the second half as the announcers pointed out.

Dier has to do better on that header. I can't decide who makes me more nervous back there between him and Sanchez.

I think Dele is our most creative player, but idk what the halftime substitution was about. Makes me worry this has shades of the Pogba dispute at MU.

IMO, Davison is so much better than Dier

I tend to agree. Although it seems like I hold my breath every time either one of them is in a one-on-one. Toby seems like a lock, so we'll get one or the other each week

Will Jose really be able to remake The team in his image without deep pockets?

Eric Dier is just not it....he's too slow to play midfield....I dont think he's smart enough to be CB...I really dont have a problem him coming on late when we have a lead and subbing off a small midfielder (Winksy) but playing 90 min at CB is scary...easily the worst CB in teams trying to be in the Top 7

Im just amazed we can't score with Son, Alli, Lucas, and Kane up top.....it's mind boggling....

That said...Davies is our weakest link...he doesn't have speed, size, or ability to do much of anything....no defense.....cant get a cross past the first guy.....every team just lets him have as much space as he wants and it mucks up everything. I really think we change him out for even a below average Premier League level LB and we're in decent shape
