There's some discussion about why this match was postponed when other teams are going ahead with their matches despite some positive tests. Seems like some fair questions about equal application of the rules:

Yeah, there's been several teams (LFC included) who've had to play a game without players who tested positive in previous match weeks.

We never looked good though, for all the possession we didn't create many good chances. Felt like that game should've been a draw but there was no real effort to get the 3 points either.

Agreed. Dominated in terms of number of chances but the final quality needed was lacking. Disappointing considering the recent form.

I had the skysports feed. Both announcers were certain he would overturn the penalty upon a look from VAR...

For the ref to even look at the penalty via VAR means the VAR official thought it wasn't a penalty.

The british NBC announcers said he was looking at if it was red, not if it was a penalty. Was an obvious penalty. Never in doubt.

Not saying that it wasn't a penalty, but using this is a justification as to why Americans don't know anything about soccer is a poor argument.

The media in England have a massive top 6 bias. They hate the idea of that being shaken up, but it doesn't matter much. Liverpool had no creativity or fight. Pretty weak performance.
