In summary, Texas A&M hosts Texas in the 1st Round.

2nd and 3rd rounds potentially at 2 seed Southern Cal where we would if seeds hold play 2 seed Southern Cal and 3 seed Oklahoma St.

The other seeds on the other side of our bracket which would be in Chapel Hill, NC are 1 seed North Carolina and 4 seed Texas Tech.

When I saw UNT, Lamar and Prairie View on the board I knew it would be tu. Arkansas dropping to a 3 seed was a little surprising but that is a big deal because they will have to go BYU.

SEC took hit this year. South Carolina and maybe Florida might advance a few rounds.

In 2014 tu came here for the second round but lost to Notre Dame. In 2017 baylor came here but we lost the PK shootout to Notre Dame. G has said that they will not play us in the regular season.

We were 2-4-2 against teams in the NCAA Tournament. Looks like Utah with an RPI of 51 was the last team in.

Texas has some baffling losses and some impressive wins (particularly winning at Kansas). Looks like they get up for rivalry games. They don't seem to have a particularly potent offense so we just need to find a way to score.

Correction. TCU was the last team in with an RPI of 55. I think that is what we were in 2016.

Ouch, Only 2 wins against tournament teams. That sums up this season for sure.

A&M could get a rematch with USC in 2nd round similar to several years ago there when we lost in PKs (snapping a long streak of winning PKs). Tough draw for us.

South Carolina got a great draw and Florida will probably make it to play FSU. Arkansas got screwed and will not survive at BYU.

Hope the students and Aggie Soccer fans come out to support the team for this rivalry match!

SEC sends five teams to NCAA Soccer Tournament

Five Southeastern Conference (SEC) teams highlight the field of 64 that will be competing for the 38th NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship. South Carolina earned a No. 2 national seed while Arkansas is a No. 3 seed. Joining the Gamecocks and Razorbacks in the field are Florida, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

Four of the five teams earned the right to host their opening round match on their home pitch.

All preliminary-round competition will take place at campus sites. First-round games will be played Nov. 15, 16 and 17. Second- and third-round games will be played Friday, Nov. 22 and Sunday, Nov. 24, and Quarterfinal games will be played Nov. 29 or 30.

Arkansas is competing in the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in the last seven years. The 2019 SEC Champion received the highest NCAA seeding in school history.

Florida returns to the NCAA Tournament to make its 22nd appearance. The Gators are hosting an opening round game for the 20th time in school history.

South Carolina is making its 12th trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last 13 years. The SEC Tournament champions will host their first round game for the eighth straight time.

The Aggies are making their 25th NCAA Tournament appearance and is hosting its first round game for the eighth time in the last nine years. Texas A&M's G Guerrieri and North Carolina's Anson Dorrance are the only two coaches to appear in every NCAA Championship since 1995.

Vanderbilt earned its third consecutive NCAA Tournament and 10th overall. The SEC Eastern Division champions will have to open on the road for the sixth time in school history.

The Aggies haven't played the Horns since Petrucelli was in Austin. (He just finished another sad season, his 8th at SMU.)
