Texas A&M Soccer returns to the road tonight with a game at BYU. The game is set to kickoff at 8PM Central Time and will be broadcast live on BYU TV . I assume it will be followed by a broadcast of a church service, a genealogy report, or Napoleon Dynamite.

BYU is 4-0 on the season with wins over 2 SEC teams - Alabama (1-0) and Mississippi State (2-1) along with Southern Utah (7-0) and Utah (2-0).

BYU went 13-5-2 last season with a 0-2 loss to Texas A&M. The Cougars were eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by TCU.

As discussed HERE, the expectations for BYU are high.

Rivals on the field tonight, Texas A&M and BYU are always rivals in the realm of attendance. The two consistently vie for the highest season attendance figures. It seems like BYU has a stronghold in that regard as they have doubled A&Ms average attendance this season with 4600 fans at each game. There will be a packed house tonight to see who will win on the pitch.

This is the Aggies' third match against a West Coast Conference team this season, and the seventh since 2018. A&M is undefeated in these matches.

We're not good. Slow and lumbering, unable to maintain possession. Horrible passing. I think our offense consists of playing long balls to Watt and hoping.

Yep, we've always had a few slower players but they were great at controlling the ball and distributing. Now we seem to have a much higher number of slow players and they seem to be worse on the ball than we're used to.

Watt is a role player but we don't seem to have a counterpart that can let her play her role.

That was only a matter of time...

It's the sort of poor sportsmanship that I'd expect from someone like Baylor, not the Aggies. There are ways to delay the restart without looking like a brat
