Incredible bad luck to lose a guy who got subbed on at the very end of the match, really hope those 2 points don't screw us

That's not true but I'm supposed to say that.
No less than what Southampton deserved. We played the last 20+ minutes in our own end. Maybe 30. Perhaps it was fatigue from starting the same 11 5 games in a row even though we're playing every 4 days but Southampton looked the better team. Bruno was off today. Greenwood was locked down.
We still control our own destiny but that was a kick in the teeth.

It should be noted that United's schedule is magnitudes easier than Chelsea and Leicester. Not that we can't still blow this but Chelsea still have to play Wolves and Liverpool (who may just say eff it and play the U-18s but still) and Leicester are conceivably the underdog in each of their remaining games based on form (Sheffield United, Spurs, us)

Leicester beat Sheffield today 2-0, must win today and try to score as many goals as possible

At this point I'd take a 1-0 win by an OG. Not looking great.

Greenwood whiffs on a great chance...definitely looking like he's feeling the effects from last game

Rashford just abused the Palace defenders when he stood on the ball. Brutal.
That was 100% a penalty on Lindelof a few minutes before that goal. Dodged a bullet.

Great footwork by Rashford to get out of the jam and then great pass to Tony for the finish. Both of them are looking great. Martial especially.

America's destiny is not of our own choosing. We did not seek nor did we provoke an assault on our freedom and our way of life. We did not expect nor did we invite a confrontation with evil. Yet the true measure of a people's strength is how they rise to master that moment when it does arrive.

Guess we can expect another 8+ minutes of ET...they need to cut out the water breaks. Hope Van Aanholt is OK

That's the primary difference between now and 6 months ago. Now even when United are playing like poop, they have enough players with enough skill (and to Ole's credit with enough freedom to use that skill) to string together a move like that. What a goal.

that was a really weird injury. stretchered off with oxygen on a fall that happens all the time.

Man, Palace has gotten a foot/flick/toe on several really great passes that would have setup some easy shots. i know thats the name of the game, but usually a couple more of those skirt thru.
And Rashford with the great strike to a great save by the keep. he makes it look so effortless sometimes.

We stand pat. Hopefully we play our youth/b team on Sunday against Chelsea. Need our starters rested and healthy for the last 2 games. It's all there to play for

Agree. We need the rest and not worry too much about the FA Cup. Let Sergio do his thing in net and we have a chance...

According to Hodgson he dislocated his "arm". Not sure if that's elbow, shoulder, or what but it apparently will require surgery.

Been on vacation for 2 weeks but keeping up with SiriusXM.
So the table is interesting. Say we beat WHU (Very realistic), LC beats Spurs (maybe) and Chelsea loses to Liverpool (very realistic) in Matchday 37. We would be tied with LC in 3/4 and Chelsea would sit 2 points back in 5th. We get LC in the last match with both teams holding a massive GD over Chelsea. We all know what happens next. It would be hilarious.
