It wasn't pretty, but the 1-0 victory against BATE punched our ticket to the next round, and all but guarantees that we'll finish first our group.

Hopefully we get to see a healthy dose of Ampadu and CHO in the two remaining group matches.

Anybody watch what was probably Drogba's final game as a professional last night. Played in the USL Cup Final for Phoenix. He is also one of the owners of the club. I hated him when he was at Chelsea because he would always score against the Gunners, but there is not doubt he was one of the greats. Hell, he even scored against Arsenal in the MLS Cup final in 2016.

I knew about it, but I didn't get to see it.

I've seen a few better footballers, but Drogba is still the best "big match" footballer that I've ever seen. A perfect 10-0 record in cup finals with 10 goals is tough to beat.

Crazy to think that he and Henry (who was an excellent "big match" footballer himself) could've played together internationally if Drogba had chosen to play for the country he grew up in instead of the country of his birth. He was absolutely massive on the international stage for Ivory Coast. A Drogba/Henry partnership would've been unplayable.
