I'm not convinced that Belgium has the steel in the middle to really pose a threat to win. I do think they will go pretty deep though, provided they dont run into Brazil or Germany in the quarters.

Weird thing about this group is that the winner of the Belgium-England game may well end up in a worse place, staring down Brazil in the quarters. The loser will get the first place team in a not very formidable group H in the round of 16, and then quite possibly Mexico (or Serbia-Switzerland) in the quarters.

I gotta say that though I'm not exactly sold on the actual world class quality of this roster, at least I like they way England seems to be looking to play with the players they have.

I can see the justification for the call when watching the replay. Raise arm to obstruct while not making a play on the ball.
