That CB totally played Pulisic on. If he steps up (and he's so far away he can't do anything anyway) Pulisic is offside.

Ref was a bit of a dick there on the sub. He rode Fabian immediately to get going. It's one thing to get in a guy who starts off walking but you should give them a chance first. So FJ jogs at a walking pace half way then starts walking again. To what does the ref do? Blow the corner kick in play the moment Bedoya steps on the field. Doesn't give him any chance to get in position. That's pretty much a dick move.

Another weird advantage call. It was a blatant foul in Bradley late in the game. There was no advantage 2 v 5. There was no speed or attack. Just blow your whistle, stop play, kill a little time and take the air out of it a bit.

Defensively there were some shaky moments. And finishing early left something to be desired. But a win is a win.

Ref on Sunday will be very important. This Mexican team simulates over and over and over. It's part of the game, but it's pretty hard to watch this much flopping.
So I thought in each round if the hex teams played a home and away game. How does Mexico have two home games this round?
Mexico has already earned four dangerous free kicks with flops. Honduras is fouling plenty too.
Hope the ref doesn't fall for it. That's the simplest solution.

I will forever hate joel Campbell for that. it's one thing to make the most of contact during the coarse of a game. but to act like you were punched/ kicked so far away from the play is the lowest of the lows

Bobby also has the ability to turn, go direct, and score our other forwards dont really have. I actually think Bobby and Jozy is our best combo up top, and you just have Pulisic flitting in and out and around making things happen.YankeeAg05 said:
